Two Handed is one of the six weapon skills available in Elder Scrolls Online. You can advance through this skill line by equipping a two-handed weapon.

Learning[edit]

The Two Handed skill line is granted the first time you kill an enemy with a two-handed weapon equipped. You can increase your skill by engaging in combat with a two-handed weapon equipped, or by having Two Handed skills slotted. The more skills you have slotted, the faster your skill will increase. Nords are naturally gifted with Two Handed weapons, and will learn the ability more quickly than other races. In addition, you can earn free levels in the skill line by reading Skill Books, which may be found randomly on bookshelves anywhere. The skill books which increase Two Handed are:

Skill Perks[edit]

Two Handed weapons have an associated skill line that is revealed through use of a Two-Handed weapon. Known abilities are listed below. Notes

  • The numbers displayed here are the base values for the skills. Magicka/Stamina Cost is based on a character of Level 50 Champion Points160. Damage values are based on Max Magicka/Stamina 7958, Max Health 8744, and Weapon/Spell Damage 1037. The actual numbers you see in the game may depend on a variety of factors, including skill line rank, your equipped weapons and armor, other skills, enchantments, etc. As such, they should only be used as a comparative reference.

This attack ignores the target's Resistance and grants you Physical and Spell Penetration for your Direct Damage attacks equal to the amount ignored from the initial target for [9 / 10 / 11 / 12] seconds.

Strike at an enemy with a vicious blow, dealing [11115 / 11237 / 11360 / 11482] Physical Damage to them and all nearby enemies. This attack ignores the target's Resistance and grants you Physical and Spell Resistance equal to the amount ignored from the intial target for 8 seconds. You are immune to all disabling, snare, and immobilization effects for the duration.

Duration: 8 seconds, Area: 5 meters.
Launch across the earth and smash an enemy, dealing 3812 Physical Damage. This attack is always a Critical Strike. After reaching your target, you sunder the ground beneath you, dealing [712 / 720 / 726 / 735] Physical Damage to all enemies in the area every 1 second for 8 seconds.

Launch across the earth and smash an enemy, dealing [3812 / 3854 / 3895 / 3938] Physical Damage. Deals up to 50% more damage based on the distance traveled. This attack is always a Critical Strike.

Focus your strength into a mighty swing, dealing 4763 Physical Damage to enemies in front of you, and causing them to bleed for an additional [7929 / 8012 / 8104 / 8194] Physical Damage over 10 seconds.
ON-icon-skill-Two Handed-Brawler.png Brawler Grants a damage shield which increases in strength for each enemy hit.
Focus your strength into a mighty swing, dealing 4763 Physical Damage to enemies in front of you. You also gain a damage shield that absorbs [4304 / 4350 / 4397 / 4445] damage for 6 seconds. Each enemy hit increases the damage shield's strength by 50%, up to 300%.

Spin around and strike an enemy down, dealing 3175 Physical Damage. Deals up to 300% more damage to enemies with less than 50% Health. Other enemies nearby take [75 / 76 / 77 / 78]% of the damage inflicted to the primary target.

Focus your strength and resolve to gain Major Brutality, increasing your Weapon Damage by 20%, as well as gaining Minor Endurance, increasing your Stamina Recovery by 10% for [17 / 18 / 19 / 20] seconds.
Morph ON-icon-skill-Two Handed-Forward Momentum.png Forward Momentum Reduces the cost and provides a brief immunity to snares and immobilizations.
Cost: [2970 / 2880 / 2790 / 2700] Stamina.
Focus your strength and resolve to gain Major Brutality, increasing your Weapon Damage by 20%, as well as gaining Minor Endurance, increasing your Stamina Recovery by 10% for 20 seconds. Activating this ability removes all snares and immobilizations from you and grants immunity to them for 4 seconds.
ON-icon-skill-Two Handed-Rally.png Rally Also heals you when the effect expires.
Focus your strength and resolve to gain Major Brutality, increasing your Weapon Damage by 20%, as well as gaining Minor Endurance, increasing your Stamina Recovery by 10% for 20 seconds. You heal for [3175 / 3210 / 3244 / 3280] when Rally ends. The final heal is increased by 15% every 1 second, up to a maximum of 300%.

Passive Abilities[edit]

Passive abilities are active all the time, so long as a two-handed weapon is equipped.

Axes grant your melee attacks 8% chance to apply a bleed dealing 8209 Physical Damage over 6 seconds. Maces cause your attacks to ignore 10% of your target's Physical Resistance.
25 2 (WITH A TWO-HANDED WEAPON EQUIPPED) Grants a bonus based on the type of weapon equipped: Swords increase your damage done by 6%. Axes grant your melee attacks 16% chance to apply a bleed dealing 8209 Physical Damage over 6 seconds. Maces cause your attacks to ignore 20% of your target's Physical Resistance.
