Assassination is one of three class skill lines available to Nightblades. Skills in this line focus on melee weapon attacks. Known abilities in this skill are listed below.

Skill Perks[edit]

The Assassination skill line is immediately available to all Nightblades, and is leveled up by earning experience while Assassination skills are slotted. Skills include: Notes

  • The numbers displayed here are the base values for the skills. Magicka/Stamina Cost is based on a character of Level 50 Champion Points160. Damage values are based on Max Magicka/Stamina 7958, Max Health 8744, and Weapon/Spell Damage 1037. The actual numbers you see in the game may depend on a variety of factors, including skill line rank, your equipped weapons and armor, other skills, enchantments, etc. As such, they should only be used as a comparative reference.

Ravage an enemy with a spinning attack, dealing 10005 Disease Damage, and increasing your damage against them by 20% for 6 seconds. Stuns enemies for [3 / 3.5 / 4 / 4.5] seconds when cast with 120 Ultimate or more. Also afflicts the enemy with Major Defile, reducing their healing received and Health Recovery by 30%.

Ravage an enemy with a spinning attack, dealing 10005 Magic Damage and increasing your damage against them by 20% for 6 seconds. Also afflicts the enemy with Major Defile, reducing their healing received and Health Recovery by 30%. While slotted, any time you kill an enemy you gain [7 / 8 / 9 / 10] Ultimate.

Thrust a caustic blade with lethal precision to stab an enemy, dealing 3174 Disease Damage. Deals 300% more damage to enemies below 25% Health. Heals you for [17 / 18 / 19 / 20]% of your Max Health if the enemy dies within 2 seconds of being struck.

Range: [25 / 26 / 27 / 28] meters.
Throw a magic blade with lethal precision to strike an enemy, dealing 3168 Magic Damage. Deals 300% more damage to enemies below 25% Health.

Flash through the shadows and ambush an enemy, dealing [3995 / 4039 / 4083 / 4126] Magic Damage and stunning them for 2 seconds. If the target is a player, they are briefly snared instead of being stunned.
Morph ON-icon-skill-Assassination-Lotus Fan.png Lotus Fan Snares the target for longer instead of stunning them, and deals additional damage over time to the target and nearby enemies.
Area: 6 meters.
Flash through the shadows and ambush an enemy, dealing 4130 Magic Damage and reducing their Movement Speed by [31 / 34 / 37 / 40]% for 8 seconds. After teleporting you unleash a fan of knives, dealing an additional [3567 / 3603 / 3647 / 3684] Magic Damage over 8 seconds to the target and nearby enemies.
ON-icon-skill-Assassination-Ambush.png Ambush Converts to a Stamina ability, and grants you Major Empower, increasing the damage of your next attack.
Cost: 3442 Stamina.
Flash through the shadows and ambush an enemy, dealing [4128 / 4175 / 4220 / 4263] Physical Damage and stunning them for 2 seconds. Also grants you Empower, increasing the damage of your next Light Attack by 40%. If the target is a player, they are briefly snared instead of being stunned.

Surround yourself in a phantasmic aura to gain Major Evasion, decreasing damage from area attacks by 25% for [20 / 22 / 24 / 26] seconds.
Morph ON-icon-skill-Assassination-Mirage.png Mirage Grants Minor Resolve and Minor Ward, increasing your Physical and Spell Resistance.
Cost: [3780 / 3690 / 3600 / 3510] Magicka.
Surround yourself in a phantasmic aura to gain Major Evasion, Minor Resolve, and Minor Ward, reducing damage from area attacks by 25% and your Physical and Spell Resistance by 1320 for 26 seconds.
ON-icon-skill-Assassination-Double Take.png Double Take Grants Major Expedition for a short period after activation, increasing your Movement Speed.

Surround yourself in a phantasmic aura to gain Major Evasion, reducing damage from area attacks by 25% for 26 seconds. Grants Major Expedition, increasing your Movement Speed 30% for 4 seconds.

Expose an enemy's weaknesses to afflict them with Major Fracture and Major Breach, reducing their Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance by 5280 for [17 / 18 / 19 / 20] seconds. When a marked enemy dies, you heal for [37 / 38 / 39 / 40]% of your Max Health. You can only have one Mark Target active at a time.
Morph ON-icon-skill-Assassination-Piercing Mark.png Piercing Mark Ability has an increased duration, and you can see the target if they use stealth or invisibility.
Duration: [27 / 28 / 29 / 30] seconds.
Expose an enemy's weaknesses to afflict them with Major Fracture and Major Breach, reducing their Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance by 5280 for [27 / 28 / 29 / 30] seconds. You can detect marked enemies even if they use stealth or invisibility for 5 seconds. When a marked enemy dies, you heal for 40% of your Max Health. You can only have one Piercing Mark active at a time.
ON-icon-skill-Assassination-Reaper's Mark.png Reaper's Mark If the marked enemy dies, you heal for more and gain Major Berserk, increasing your damage done.
Expose an enemy's weaknesses to afflict them with Major Fracture and Major Breach, reducing Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance by 5280 for 20 seconds. When a marked enemy dies, you heal for [57 / 58 / 59 / 60]% of your Max Health and you gain Major Berserk, increasing your damage done by 25% for 5 seconds. You can only have one Reaper's Mark active at a time.

Build up deadly momentum to gain Minor Berserk, increasing your damage done by 8% for 20 seconds. While active, hitting an enemy with 5 Light or Heavy Attacks changes this ability into Assassin's Will, allowing you to fire a single shot from a spectral bow for half cost at an enemy to deal [11069 / 11193 / 11314 / 11434] Magic Damage.
Morph ON-icon-skill-Assassination-Relentless Focus.png Relentless Focus Converts into a Stamina ability and deals Disease Damage. Grants Minor Endurance, increasing your Stamina Recovery.
Cost: 2295 Stamina.
Build up deadly momentum to gain Minor Berserk and Minor Endurance, increasing your damage done by 8% and Stamina Recovery by 10% for 20 seconds. While active, hitting an enemy with 5 Light or Heavy Attacks changes this ability into Assassin's Scourge, allowing you to fire a single shot from a spectral bow for half cost at an enemy to deal [11439 / 11564 / 11690 / 11816] Disease Damage.

Build up deadly momentum to gain Minor Berserk, increasing your damage done by 8% for 20 seconds. While active, hitting an enemy with 5 Light or Heavy Attacks changes this ability into Assassin's Will, allowing you to fire a single shot from a spectral bow for half cost at an enemy to deal [12301 / 12436 / 12570 / 12707] Magic Damage.
