Light Armor is a skill in Elder Scrolls Online. It consists largely of robes and cloth armor. As with the other armor skills, there are only passive skills and a single active ability. These skills mainly aid magic using characters.
Learning[edit]
The Light Armor skill line is granted the first time you equip 3 pieces of Light Armor. You can increase your skill by taking or blocking damage while wearing Light Armor, or earning experience with the Annulment skill slotted. The more pieces you are wearing, the faster your skill will increase. Bretons are naturally gifted with Light Armor, and will learn the ability more quickly than other races. In addition, you can earn free levels in the skill line by reading Skill Books, which may be found randomly on bookshelves anywhere. The skill books which increase Light Armor are:

Notes
- The numbers displayed here are the base values for the skills. Magicka/Stamina Cost is based on a character of Level 50 160. Damage values are based on Max Magicka/Stamina 12000, Max Health 16000, and Weapon/Spell Damage 1000. The actual numbers you see in the game may depend on a variety of factors, including skill line rank, your equipped weapons and armor, other skills, enchantments, etc. As such, they should only be used as a comparative reference.

Harness Magicka | Restores Magicka whenever you absorb damage. Passive Abilities[edit]
Passive abilities are active all the time; some provide a benefit per piece of Light Armor equipped, so they are effectively always on (with a value that can be 0), while others may require a minimum number of pieces in order to apply (these typically provide a static value once turned on, rather than scaling per piece).
