Online:Pact Soldier

Pact Soldiers are soldiers of the Ebonheart Pact. Many of them in PvE zones can be pickpocketed, though some friendly Pact Soldiers exist (usually in quest settings). Pact Soldiers can be of any of the three Pact races, including Nords, Dark Elves and Argonians.

Pact Soldiers can be found throughout the Ebonheart Pact zones, in places such as Fort Zeren, Fort Amol, Trolhetta and Dhalmora. As expected, they usually appear where the Pact may need them to drive back an adversary. Notably, they are friendly towards Ebonheart Pact players in Cyrodiil while being hostile towards players from the Covenant and Dominion.

Dead male Dark Elf Pact Soldiers can be found in the Daedric ruin on the Starved Plain, which you visit during Wayward Son.

The Venom of Ahknara

After defeating the assassins, you'll find this female Argonian Pact Soldier dead outside the Fort Arand Dungeon entrance. If you examine her, you'll get this message:

"<This soldier has several stab wounds on her back and neck. The assassins must have ambushed her.>
<Someone ran across the floor and used the trapdoor in the corner. Strikes-from-Shadows may be down there.>"

The Coral Heart

The last of the four Pact Soldiers you free from the dreugh's mud piles will plead with you to rescue one of their officers.

Pact Soldier: "The Covenant have Galyn … she's on their ship. Help her. Please!"

The General's Demise

When you enter the inner courtyard of Fort Virak, you'll find some soldiers tied up to tables meant to be sacrificed for General Serien's undead army. You can free them.

Male Argonian Pact soldier:

"They're going to turn me into one of the unliving. You've got to save me!"

Here, let me set you free.

"You're a lifesaver! Thank you!"

Female Argonian Pact soldier:

"They're going to turn us into zombies. You've got to help me!"

Here, let me set you free.

"You have my eternal thanks.
I owe my life to you."

Male Dark Elf Pact soldier:

"I don't want to die. Please!"

Here, let me set you free.

"You have my eternal thanks.
I owe my life to you."

Female Dark Elf Pact soldier:

"I don't want to be a zombie! Save me!"

Here, let me set you free.

"You're a lifesaver! Thank you!"

Climbing the Spire

Once you lower the wards at the Toremented Spire and when you enter through the door. A Pact detachement will greet you:

Pact Soldier: "Our allies have broken through! Press the attack!"

To Vernim Woods

A Nord Pact soldier approaches you after Storming the Hall is complete. she will say:

"Hold, soldier!"

She will deliver news that the Reachmen are planning something at Vernim Wood and Centurion Gjakil will need your assistance:

"I have news from Vernim Wood!"

What news?

"The Reachmen are gathering in the Wood. Gjakil needs all able blades to head there right away!"

I'm on my way.

She runs off after delivering the news.

Securing the Pass

If you persuaded Jorunn to let you recruit aid to clear the pass, you can have a male Nord Pact Soldier or a male Argonian Pact Soldier accompany you if you asked Holgunn One-Eye or Walks-in-Ash directly. Holgunn's soldier is a melee warrior while Walk's soldier is a fire mage.

When you reach the explosive barrels in the cave, the soldier will warn you:

Pact Soldier: "Beware!"

When you approach the gate with a barrier:

Pact Soldier: "Magic bars the gate!"

Once out of the caves:

Pact Soldier: "Finally out of those caves!"

When you are near Giants:

Pact Soldier: "Giants!"

After you completed the quest, he will wish you good luck and run off:

Pact Soldier: "Good luck!"
