Online:Nighthollow Clan

The Nighthollow Clan are an ancient clan of Nedic vampires who once ruled the Reach above from their keep in the depths of Blackreach, and were dubbed the Night Lords by the ancestors of modern Reachfolk.

After the fall of the Dwarven city-states, thanks to the Aetherium Wars, the Nighthollow Clan took control of the Dark Heart. However, over time, they became overly reliant on its void energy for sustenance and, as a result, were no longer able to gain nourishment through blood.

Eventually, the power of the Dark Heart would wane, and would only be reserved for the inner circle of the Nighthollow Clan, leaving those lower in the hierarchy suffering from starvation. The Nighthollow Clan would, in time, lose their influence and become reduced to mere bedtime stories to the dwellers of the Reach.

In an effort to regain their power, Lady Belain made a pact with Rada al-Saran and his Gray Host centuries ago, allying the clan with the Gray Host in exchange for obtaining their help in figuring out a way to bring the Dark Heart back to its full potential.
