The Sablefish is a type of fish that can be found in the Alik'r Desert.
Salmon[edit]
The Salmon is a gray type of fish that can commonly be found in bodies of water around Tamriel. They are often seen jumping to ascend waterfalls and rapids. While the other species of fish tend to swim near the surface of bodies of water, salmon may often be seen either near the surface or in the depths. Its pinkish-orange flesh is a popular food source, and can be eaten raw or salted and cooked. The Crag Salmon can be found in Craglorn. The Jarl Salmon can be found in the Rift. The Midget Salmon can be found in the Alik'r Desert. The Sockeye Salmon can be found in the Rift. The Ghost Salmon can be found in the oceans near Haafingar and Hjaalmarch.

The Saw Belly is a type of fish that can be found in the Alik'r Desert.
Sawfish[edit]
The Sawfish is a type of fish that can be found in Stormhaven.
Scabrous Grenadier[edit]
The Scabrous Grenadier is a type of fish that could be found in the planetouched waters of the Imperial City during the Planemeld.
Scorpionfish[edit]
The Scorpionfish is a type of fish that can be found in the sunny waters of the Gold Coast. The Scorpion Fish can be found in dark, subterranean waters in Skyrim.
Senche Flathead[edit]
The Senche Flathead is a type of aquatic animal that can be found on Summerset Isle.
Shad[edit]
The Shad is a type of small fish that can be found in lakes across Tamriel. They are used as bait to catch larger fish.
- The Ash Shad can be found in Stonefalls
- The Strid Shad can be found in Reaper's March
Shark[edit]
Sharks are a type of fish. They are known to pose a danger to those who swim in deep waters.[1]
- The Bala Shark and Beggar Shark can be found in the warm waters of Hew's Bane.
- The Fang Shark can be found in Coldharbour.
- The Golem Shark can be found in Eastmarch.
- The Magrove Shark can be found in Grahtwood.
- The Sleeper Shark can be found in the sunny waters of the Gold Coast.
- The Weeping Pygmy Shark can be found in Vvardenfell.
- The Skyrim Gurry Shark can be found in the oceans near Haafingar and Hjaalmarch.[2]
- Pad-sa Sharks are scrappy survivors that inhabit fresh and salty waters, usually found from the mouth of the Niben River to the Topal Bay.[3]
- Blue Fang Sharks can be found off the coast of the Systres and possess a blue and white coloration.[4]
Shark Tadpole[edit]
The Shark Tadpole is a type of fish that can be found in Shadowfen.
Sheartooth[edit]
Shearteeth are a type of fish found in the Sump on Umbriel. They are described as having a "maw full of teeth". They can reach at least fifteen feet long and have long whip-like tails, dual swimming fins on the underside, teeth that "would shame a shark", and a tough hide. They are usually non-aggressive to Skraws but will attack if the sump considers someone an intruder.

The Sheepshead is a type of fish that can be found in Reaper's March.
Skate[edit]
The Skate is a type of fish that can be found in foul water in the Rift.
Skorrn[edit]
The Skorrn is a type of fish that can be found in the Rift.
Slaughterfish[edit]
Slaughterfish are small, aggressive fish with razor-sharp teeth found in the waters of nearly all of Nirn and even in other realms such as Coldharbour.
They are often found in large groups that will swarm unwary prey quickly and lethally, some specimens have been known to grow at least twice as large than average due to plentiful meals. Slaughterfish tend to prefer foul waters but can thrive in a variety of aquatic environments across Tamriel, such as deep inland lakes and underground rivers. They have even been sighted in the heavily polluted, oily waters of the Clockwork City, where most other fish species had been rendered near-extinct.

The Snakehead is a type of fish that can be found in Rivenspire.
Snapper[edit]
The Snapper is a type of fish. The Lake Snapper can be found in Bangkorai. The Perfumed Snapper can be found in Murkmire. Its sweet-smelling oils are known to be extracted for use in Shadowscale customs.[5]
Sole[edit]
The Sole is a type of fish. The Finless Sole can be found in Glenumbra. The Lined Sole can be found in the dirty water within Murkmire.
Spadefish[edit]
The Spadefish is a type of disc-shaped fish with brush-like teeth. They can be found in temperate streams and around the bases of waterfalls in the Reach.[6]
Spadetail[edit]
The Spadetail is a common type of fish that can be found in still lakes with deep holes or overgrowth that let them stay out of the sun. Guts from small frogs, guar and chickens as well as tiny ocean minnows are the best bait for attracting spadetails.
- The Cyrodilic Spadetail can be found in ponds, lakes, and other bodies of water. Despite its name, its habitat is not limited to Cyrodiil.
Sparking Anglermouth[edit]
The Sparking Anglermouth is a type of fish that can be found in the warm waters of Hew's Bane.
Speckled Dace[edit]
The Speckled Dace is a type of fish found in the fresh and brackish water of Anequina.
Speckled Sauger[edit]
The Speckled Sauger is a type of fish that can be found in Blackwood.
Spiny Orcfish[edit]
The Spiny Orcfish is a type of fish that can be found in Craglorn.
Stained Porgy[edit]
The Stained Porgy is a type of fish that can be found in Blackwood.
Stargazer[edit]
The Stargazer is a type of fish that can be found in Malabal Tor.
Steelhead[edit]
The Steelhead is a type of fish that can be found in Eastmarch.

The Sturgeon is a type of fish that can be found in lakes on Auridon. The King Sturgeon can be found in Eastmarch. The Azurian Sturgeon can be found in the Azurian Sea. Their caviar was the personal favorite of King Kurog gro-Orsinium.

The Sucker is a type of fish. The Hog Sucker can be found in Grahtwood. The Modoc Sucker can be found in Eastmarch. The Sulfursucker can be found in the Rift. The Desert Sucker can be found in the rivers of Anequina. The Ruin Sucker can be found in the foul waters of Pellitine.

The Sunfish is a type of fish.
The Pygmy Sunfish can be found in temperate lakes in Skyrim, with them being more commonly seen in rainy conditions. They are often seen by travelers who stop to enjoy the hot springs of Eastmarch.[6]
The Redear Sunfish can be found in lakes within Murkmire.

The Swai is a type of fish that can be found in saltwater in Bangkorai.
