Short Description for Marog[edit]

Rpeh, Marog has a fairly content-full article on its own page, but the "places" page for Tamriel Rebuilt (here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tes3Mod:Tamriel_Rebuilt/Places ) still lacks a tagline description for it. I know I've tried editing those before but they're made by some very complicated process instead of just editing the text there. Could you write a brief description for it so the Places article can be updated to reflect that there's info on the Marog page? Right now it looks like the link to the Marog article is going to be a stub just like the other towns that lack a description. Thanks! Zhukant 00:56, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Added a description. What you do is edit the place's article. Right at the top you'll find something that looks like this:

{{Morrowind Town Table
| Town=Baldrahn
| Alignment=House Telvanni
| Region=Boethian Mountains
| Almsivi=*Ranyon-ruhn
| Divine=*Helnim
| Description=A tiny muck farming community just south of Llothanis.
}}

The green part is where the description goes. For now I just put "A small Telvanni town, built into the cliff face opposite the Imperial city of Helnim". Hope this helps! ?• JATalk 01:31, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

For what it's worth...[edit]

I think you should still be an admin. Whatever anybody else says, you're a great contributor to the site, and I don't think your personal conflicts on other sites should be grounds for punishment on this one. I just wanted you to know that. ThuumofReason 22:30, 27 March 2012 (UTC)

Thank you. rpeh •TCE 18:08, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
Seconded - for as long as I've been on this wiki there was never a day I didn't see you at least somewhere in the Recent Changes. The wiki without you seems a bit... eerie. Also thanks for standing up for UESP. Just keep your cool and don't let them get to you, they're not worth it. -- kertaw48 19:19, 22 April 2012 (UTC)
Thank you too. Alas, it seems other opinions rule at the moment. rpeh •TCE 19:30, 22 April 2012 (UTC)

Imperial City image[edit]

I wonder how you captured the image of the Imperial City with all parts loaded. I'm trying to replace what you captured, with higher resolution and highest settings, but whatever part I am in, all the city's parts will not load simultaneously. What did you do to load all parts? Did you use any console commands? SFK363 19:04, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

Rpeh has been inactive for several months now, according to the Featured Image Nomination, he used this mod to do it. ESQuestion?EmailContribs 19:26, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
Yup, that's the mod to use for this kind of thing. Be warned, though, that it can kill your machine if you over-do the detail settings! rpeh •TCE 18:08, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
I wonder how you have the balls to underestimate my GTX 550 Ti. SFK363 10:33, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

Blocked[edit]

Stop X.svg This account has been blocked from editing UESPWiki for several personal attacks against other users of the site and multiple disruptions to the site. If you wish to appeal the block, you may make your request on your talk page, which you can still edit even while being blocked. —AKB Talk Cont Mail 01:08, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
Please specify the alleged "personal attacks" and "multiple disruptions", and please highlight the warnings given about them. rpeh •TCE 17:46, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
I would first like to start off by saying that no formal warning has been given about this. However, as UESP Blocking Policy states: "Although this three-step process [Warn, Temporary Block, Permanent Block] is the normal procedure, administrators have the authority to bypass one or more steps at their discretion." The policy page goes onto include personal attacks as a reason to not just bypass a warning, but can be grounds for an immediate permanent block. I made note to remove any mention of a warning from this block due to this.
As for your request for examples, you have claimed that Daveh is sycophant and incompetent, left a sarcastic reply to a user during a previous request to have you blocked, claimed that RH70 was sucking up to other users (according to Wikipedia Policy, accusing a user of a certain kind of behavior without evidence to back it up is considered a personal attack), and you were disruptive when a user's eligibility in a discussion was called into question due to perceived signs of meat puppetry here and here.
I apologize that I don't have time to go into detail with anything but I'm rather busy IRL at the moment. I may be disposed to reply swiftly to any other message, but I will try to get back to you. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 18:53, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
Quite simply, none of those are personal attacks. At a pinch, the comment to Daveh was on the line, but it took place over two months ago so handing out a three month block now is a clear violation of natural justice. As for my comments on RH, Krusty had already provided the evidence. I was simply adding my voice in support. No justification for this block, so please undo ASAP. Thanks. rpeh •TCE 19:04, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
I do have to add that, and I quote: "A pattern of hostility reduces the likelihood of the community assuming good faith, and can be considered disruptive editing." Considering your inactivity on the site, it is likely these posts were meant to harm the wiki.
If that doesn't convince you this block was justified, I'll add this link, a vote which is suspected to be meat puppetry. Since meat puppetry is as good as impossible to prove, it is up to an administrator to act as a judge. Considering the user in question has made a total of only 4 contributions, of which 2 are edits to their userpage, and the other 2 being the vote on the rfa, it is highly unlikely this person has sufficient knowledge to cast an actual vote. While it is not impossible for the user to have observed the wiki, the lack of previous votes since they subscribed leads one to believe they also lack the interest to vote. If you check their userpage, you can read the following line: "I am a newbie to the Elder Scrolls world - having been introduced by Rob, one of the admins on this very portal." At the time this addition was made, you, Robert, were an admin. This should provide enough evidence of you two being friends, which makes their vote (in which your argument was simply repeated) a mere "back-up" from a friend, which is prohibited ~ Dwarfmp 18:54, 22 April 2012 (UTC)
I'm quite honestly astonished by the hypocrisy taking place on this site at the moment. I was de-adminned because I committed "censorship" by removing a totally unproductive discussion from the site. Now I'm blocked for standing up for my right to comment on an RfA and a user's right to cast a vote? Seriously???
The entire premise behind this block is that nobody making the active users list deserves a right to vote. That is, quite simply, wrong. The reasons behind my block then move on to what another user has said on their user page! Seriously, people! Try putting forward this kind of "evidence" in a real court and see how far you get!
I have made no personal attacks and committed no other blockable offence, yet was banned without warning. An unblock is the least that needs to be done. rpeh •TCE 19:29, 22 April 2012 (UTC)

() Per the Blocking Policy, all users are entitled to an appeal on the AN. Is this to be considered and appeal, and shall I move this for you, Rpeh? ESQuestion?EmailContribs 19:33, 22 April 2012 (UTC)

I was wondering how long it would take. Yes, please. There's absolutely no justification for this block. rpeh •TCE 19:46, 22 April 2012 (UTC)
OK, I'll do it. ESQuestion?EmailContribs 19:48, 22 April 2012 (UTC)
That is why the vote wasn't removed ~ Dwarfmp 20:03, 22 April 2012 (UTC)
And yet I was blocked for it. rpeh •TCE 20:06, 22 April 2012 (UTC)

Oblivion Alchemy[edit]

Is the Alchemy Effects template screwed up? Most of the Oblivion's individual Effects pages either include Morrowind ingredients, or list no ingredients at all. 76.185.41.201 05:19, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

You're right. I'm looking into it now. Robin Hoodtalk 06:27, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
The problem has now been fixed, though it may take some time before the full, correct lists are displayed. Thanks for letting us know! Robin Hoodtalk 06:39, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

TESWiki[edit]

I just learned that you were desysopped. I'm sorry for what happened at TESWiki. They shouldn't be using UESP's images without attribution. A photograph belongs to the photographer in just about any country. It isn't as if the photographs contain code for the game. I don't really use or visit Wikia much any more due to all of Wikia's changes. Wikia and TESWiki are pretty alien to me now. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk) (Deeds) 13:26, 2 May 2012 (UTC)

Question:[edit]

Suggestions for a Userpage, my friend? Ess-Tee 16:18, 10 May 2012 (UTC)

Rpeh is blocked, and likely will not be checking his talk page. You should speak to one of our Mentors. —72.215.153.100 16:22, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
Oh really? Was prepared to like the guy too, when is his block finished?Ess-Tee 13:20, 11 May 2012 (UTC)

Just pointing this out....[edit]

I'm pretty new to the wiki even though i've played the elder scrolls for years, and i stumbled upon this page after noticing that rpeh and his bot have made more edits than anyone else on this site, and yet he is banned. I read the arguments and if people don't like this guy they should at least respect him for all the contributions he has made, because 81,516 edits is simply astounding. I think that if someone is willing to put this much time and effort into making this wiki the best out there, then he should be allowed back on the site because frankly all this drama seems rather pointless when the primary goal of this site is to provide information, and the most active user is banned. — Unsigned comment by JCsquared (talkcontribs) on f 22:16, 6 July 2012

If someone begins disrupting the site, the amount of edits they have made is irrelevant. The Silencer speaksTalk 21:20, 6 July 2012 (UTC)

ahhhhhh so if he did all that stuff after he was removed as an admin why was he removed as an admin and did he say those things out of anger of being removed as an admin?JCsquared 04:41, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
Disrupting site = Block, end of story. The Silencer speaksTalk 12:51, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
