Your prize![edit]

[1] Finished it quickly. I'm gonna do everyone's characters eventually, but that's your prize for reversing Alegna's name correctly. Somercy 10:29, 4 December 2007 (EST)

That's brilliant! I especially like the waistline, which is totally accurate and not at all highly flattering. :-) --RpehTCE 10:37, 4 December 2007 (EST)
Shh! Don't ruin my fantasies! Arrgh, now I can't dream of the hot geeky prince I've been looking for. Somercy 10:41, 4 December 2007 (EST)
Not so hot, but incredibly geeky! But in any case, my appearances in dreams have all been reserved for the time being... --RpehTCE 10:57, 4 December 2007 (EST)
Darn. A shame, I wanted you for December 20th, if you were available. Ah, well. Anyway, I think I might do Altmer Nephele next. Or Redguard Eshe. I'm saving the rest of the guys for later. I can't draw guys. Somercy 11:22, 4 December 2007 (EST)

I'm Confuzzled![edit]

Hey, Rpeh, since there doesn't seem to be any specific Administrator concerned with Fanfiction, I've come to you. Long story short, I'd like to try my hand at it. Is there anyting I particulary need to do, or can I just create a new page linked to the Fanfiction article? I would particularly like to type up a Morrowind story, which would really be great, if I can find out if there are any pre-requisites. Please post a response on my talk page as, in my infinite wisdom, I will almost certainly forget to check back here. Thanks! --HMSVictory 15:35, 7 December 2007 (EST)

Rpeh, I've just about finished the first chapter in my first Fanfiction and have completed the main for the second chapter. The link for them is Here. If you have any comments, please leave them on my talk page. Thanks! --HMSVictory 11:02, 9 December 2007 (EST)

I'm sorry[edit]

I'm sorry but from the time that he wants me to inform you about a conflict do not start fighting with me. And I am not going to start the war but he. SO do not threaten me. Lord Geogorath 09:28, 9 December 2007 (EST)

Neelan and Benny220[edit]

You can rest assured i've told my teacher about these two, the problem now is that my teacher has just stopped caring. (Neelan is the name of one of the pupils at my school) I did mention Benny220 to TheRealLurlock a while ago but never got a response, I'll try to talk them out of trying something like this again but somehow i doubt they'll listen.

Neelan is the same user as Xbox and Xbox2 while Benny220 is a freind of his.

We couldn't block Benny220 before he actually did something wrong. They have both been banned for a month; anything after that is likely to result in an indefinite ban. I see that Wikipedia has also had problems with your IP address and has already mentioned that contacting Kent County Council is an option should it happen again. The council might not care about a couple of wiki sites being vandalised but they will care about the online bullying, given the recent statements on the subject by the government. It might be worth bringing some of the more extreme statements to the attention of your teacher so he/she realises this isn't just silly, it's nasty. --RpehTCE 13:02, 11 December 2007 (EST)
I was aware that Wikipedia had blocked our school, I was not aware they were considering contacting the council about it. I have mentioned all the incidents to my teacher but recently she has just stopped paying attention and started winging about the fact that i spend all my time sorting out incidents like this and no time on my coureswork, she now says the it is simply not a problem and I don't think she is willing to take any further action against the vandals.
Sorry, Volanaro - I've been meaning to reply to this for a while. Don't worry - I'm not trying to put the responsibility onto your shoulders as that would be unfair. If your teacher isn't interested than it's just another example of bad understanding of IT in Britain and certainly not your fault. Your classmates have just earned your school a six month block and if the vandalism continues after that point, I'll make it an indefinite one. Frankly, if it wasn't for the fact that we know this is a school and that these things happen sometimes, the block would already be indefinite. On a personal note, I'd like to thank you for your continued helpful contributions to the wiki despite the problems. Long may they continue! —RpehTCE 09:58, 17 December 2007 (EST)
One option may be for me to stay away from the wiki when at school as this may cause them to lose interest in the site. We break up for the christmas holidays tomorrow so things might calm down during the period, and by the time the block expires on this ip adress we will most likely have left the school. Volanaro 04:37, 18 December 2007 (EST)
We're back at school now let's hope nothing goes wrong this time they seem to have got bored of it so there shouldn't be so much trouble this time, correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't the block expired on some of the accounts?Volanaro 05:43, 8 January 2008 (EST)
Not quite - the blocks on Neelan and Benny220 both expire at 12:31, 11 January 2008 - Friday lunchtime. The ban on anonymous editing from your school's IP address lasts until 13:41, 17 June 2008. Hopefully you're right and all will be quiet on Friday but if not it'll be an indefinite ban for those accounts; that would seem entirely fair to me. I hope you had a good holiday! –RpehTCE 05:52, 8 January 2008 (EST)
Thought so, What about Xbox and Xbox2?, Mind you if they don't know when the block expires it could save everyone a whole lot of hastle. By the way My holiday was OK (But very boring by the end!), hope yours was good too.Volanaro 06:27, 8 January 2008 (EST)
I'd forgotten about those two! Those blocks have already expired (I blocked them for one month from Dec 4) so can be used to edit the site again. I definitely wouldn't advertise the fact to the people concerned, however! I had a good break too, thank you. Back at work now though :| –RpehTCE 06:34, 8 January 2008 (EST)

Here we go again Volanaro 05:52, 10 January 2008 (EST)

I saw. Indefinite block, as promised. I'm not messing around with those idiots any more. –RpehTCE 06:16, 10 January 2008 (EST)
Ok now he's launching personal messages about you! Volanaro 05:09, 15 January 2008 (EST)
So I see. Another indefinite block. As far as the insults are concerned, it's water off a duck's back - I've been called far worse before and I dare say it'll happen again! Thanks for reverting all his edits. –RpehTCE 05:31, 15 January 2008 (EST)
Hmph. That kid clearly doesn't do his research ;). --Eshetalk12:05, 15 January 2008 (EST)
Hmm. Come to think of it, it was really more of a comment on you than on me, wasn't it? :-) /me hugs Eshe –RpehTCE 12:17, 15 January 2008 (EST)
You mean on the Sneak page? not sure Volanaro 13:04, 15 January 2008 (EST)

Hi, This is me the user of benny220. sry for any incoveinence i have caused on this website. i was just having a laugh. I know that the user Neelan has gone to far with this. I can assure you I will not be doing this again. Benny220 04:36, 17 January 2008 (EST)

Thank you for the apology - I'm glad to hear you've decided to pack it in. You're welcome to use and edit the site as long as you really have stopped vandalizing it. Hopefully you'll find that being part of an online community is more fun than antagonizing it! –RpehTCE 04:51, 17 January 2008 (EST)
ok thanks, but i wont really need to use this website till i have installed a game that i have got called morrowind. Can you tell me what morrowwind is please?
Morrowind is the third part of the Elder Scrolls series - Oblivion is the fourth installment. It's a few years old now but is still a really good game - I'm working my way own through it at the moment. The graphics can look at bit dated at times but with the right mods I hear it can look very nearly as good as Oblivion (I haven't tried them myself yet). Even without those mods I'm having a lot of fun with the game. Read through the wiki's full set of pages on Morrowind here. –RpehTCE 05:12, 17 January 2008 (EST)

Non-Relevant Morrowind NPCs[edit]

It's been decided that most Morrowind NPCs will not get pages or photos because they're not relevant in any way to the game's story line. There are tables that have been created to provide basic stats for all characters, with links only for the relevant ones, (Morrowind:Non-Relevant NPCs) and my sandboxes only contain infoboxes for NPCs who have met the criteria for being relevant. I'm sure that the lists will need some tweaking as time goes on. But still a large number of the NPCs should never need individual information. --NepheleTalk 12:35, 15 December 2007 (EST)

Okay, over-enthusiasm got the better of me. I'm sorry I didn't read the project page more thoroughly and for misunderstanding what I did read. Eventually we may want to look at pages for every NPC but I'll be stick to the agreed pages until then. —RpehTCE 15:53, 16 December 2007 (EST)

Tamriel:Factions[edit]

Hey, I noticed you were trying to get involved in something and was getting a bit frustrated. Might I suggest helping me out with the Tamriel:Faction pages? I have the major factions done, but I could sure use some help with the minor factions from Morrowind and Oblivion (pleeeaase). Look around there, and if you want to help, try following my idea of having 4 sections (should be 5, but Arena users are nowhere to be found), Description (which gets included on the index of factions, then the impact on particular games. --Timmeh Talk 17:05, 15 December 2007 (EST)

Scripted Deaths[edit]

I added a list of Scripted death characters to my page, could you perhaps tell me if you think it would be appropriate to add it to the actual wiki, it's a bit sloppy at the moment so be prepared for some really bad quality info! Volanaro 09:03, 23 December 2007 (EST)

I'd say that will be a useful page when finished. I don't believe it's long enough to require the letter sections you're using, which would mean the final table could be narrower (it's very wide on a 1,920 pixel screen!). Also, the introduction needs a little tweak - compare the text about player's choices with Ulrich Leland's entry. When it's done you could link to it from the "scripted death" comments you've already added to the individual NPC pages. Another thought - what about NPCs like Celedaen? I can't check at the moment, but isn't at least one method of bringing about his death scripted? Anyway - it's a good idea for a page. —RpehTCE 06:56, 29 December 2007 (EST)
OK, I've tidy'd it up a bit and added a seperate section for people like Celedaen and Ulrich Leland. Volanaro 09:20, 29 December 2007 (EST)
Looking good. Don't forget to use your Show preview button though. If you don't want to do this sort of thing on your main user page, why not create your own sandbox pages? I use them myself while knocking up new pages and a lot of other people do too. See my, Nephele's or Eshe's pages for examples. —RpehTCE 09:28, 29 December 2007 (EST)
Ok i confess i have absoloutely no idea how to ceate and sandbox page, could you give me a brief description of how it's done? Volanaro 10:21, 29 December 2007 (EST)
The easiest way is often to make a link to the page you want to create, like this User:Volanaro/Sandbox then Show Preview and then click on it. Otherwise you can play around with the URL in your browser. It's the same for creating any new page. —RpehTCE 10:32, 29 December 2007 (EST)
Yh' that sorted it HEre it is now: Scripted DeathsVolanaro 12:57, 29 December 2007 (EST)

(outdent) I've been meaning to say - that's a good page and it looks ready for prime time now. Why don't you post it to Oblivion:Scripted Deaths then people can start to make any edits they think it needs? Two things: First, when you post it to the new page, take the "Scripted Deaths" heading off - pages shouldn't repeat page names as headings. Second, it'll need a breadcrumb trail. I'd guess the Generic NPCs trail is the one to go for so add {{Oblivion Generic NPCs Trail}} at the top of the page when you post it (not while it's in your sandbox!) and you'll get the standard links at the top, right of the page. The next step after that would be to start linking to the new page from the pages of the NPCs listed! –RpehTCE 06:58, 8 January 2008 (EST)

Consider it done, I'll probably start adding the relevant links to the NPC pages tomorrow now, perhaps you or some of the other users could start at it, I was wondering wether to keep the link in the "Essential" box on the charts or add a seperate box for it? Volanaro 13:17, 8 January 2008 (EST)
I'd keep it in the Essential box and make the words "scripted death" a link, although yet again Celedaen is an exception... Meybe somebody else will have a better idea? –RpehTCE 13:59, 8 January 2008 (EST)
Maybe people like Celedaen and Arnora Auria could say "Dependant Scripted Death", Like you said maybe someone else could have a better idea, i might go ahead with this fr now, there aren't that many so if we change it it won't take too much effort. Volanaro 14:08, 8 January 2008 (EST)

Merry Christmas! I'm so glad you've stuck around! Thank you for everything you've done here, your dedication is obvious. Have a great holiday! --GuildKnightTalk2me 01:59, 24 December 2007 (EST)
Thanks, GuildKnight! I hope you had a great time too and will have a similarly great time at New Year. —RpehTCE 06:56, 29 December 2007 (EST)
