Archive / Contents / Talk Pages[edit]

An archive is really just a set of links to subpages. You can copy the code from mine if you want. As for a table of contents, you can use the code __TOC__ to force the wiki to produce a contents box.

Volanaro has already pointed out that this isn't a forum. If you want to ask a question, please ask it once and then wait for somebody to reply. You shouldn't use talk pages for personal chatter - they're supposed to be used for discussions as to how the wiki can be improved and it can be disruptive for other site members to see all your posts and have to patrol them. Thanks. –RpehTCE 06:10, 1 April 2008 (EDT)

What so we aint aloud to talk about to each other on his discussion page about things we do after school? Benny220 06:12, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
Not really, no. Making a few posts here and there are fine but the hundred or so I'm having to work through is just irritating. If you want to chat about general topics, a better place would be the forums and, since you both seem to be sat in the same room, an even better idea would be to just ask each other. –RpehTCE 06:21, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
Well volanaro is lying. He is trying to get us banned. We are not in the same room. We are in a differnt building to each other. Benny220 06:22, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
Ok, you can hurl all kinds of abuse at me but do not call me a liar! I know you think this is funny but you're just being annoying and telling people rubbish like that isn't going to help. --Volanaro 03:46, 20 April 2008 (EDT)
I'll second that motion. If you don't have anything constructive to add to the Wiki, then don't suddenly think that's a cue to start talking about irrelevant things. Use the IRC Chatroom, or even better, use MSN or something similar. We don't want to be flooded with pointless chat. We also don't tolerate insults here, but you seem to have gotten away with throwing plenty of them around. If your views happen to conflict with Volanaro's, then consider his opinion before you call him a liar. Volanaro is a respected member of the community, who has aided many new users like you before. --HMSVictoryTalk 05:54, 20 April 2008 (EDT)

Edit Counter[edit]

Thanks to you, I now realize I can count my edits through Special:UsersEditCount. I just realized that I'm one of the top 50 active users. This wasn't possible on other wiki since there are many more active users on other wikis. Thanks. I hope I can stay in the top 50. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk)/(Contribs) 22:58, 1 April 2008 (EDT)

Frankly, it doesn't matter. As long as you are editing productively, the number of edits compared to other users is of no consequence. You will never be judged as being worse than someone else just because "they have a higher edit count than you". --HMSVictory 10:42, 13 April 2008 (EDT)
I never said that I was better than anyone else. You have a strange view of who I am. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk)/(Contribs) 10:56, 13 April 2008 (EDT)
He never said that, he simply said that it really doesn't matter how active you are --Volanaro 10:58, 13 April 2008 (EDT)
Volanaro is correct. I said (typed) nothing of the sort. You have a strange view of my comments. --HMSVictory 11:02, 13 April 2008 (EDT)

We aren't friends[edit]

Beny220, can you please remove me from your freinds list, any friendship we had stopped when you started taking the mick out of me and the wiki at school. --Volanaro 05:42, 21 April 2008 (EDT)

Ok Benny220 05:43, 21 April 2008 (EDT)

Welcomes[edit]

Hi Benny220,

I noticed you're adding welcomes to a lot of talk pages recently. Though this is appreciated, it's not really very useful. Most of the users you're welcoming haven't been active on the wiki for ages. Welcomes should be given to users who have just joined, not users who have already left. Thanks. - Game LordTalk|Contribs 05:34, 24 April 2008 (EDT)

Sorry. But i didn't know they was already left.Benny220 05:36, 24 April 2008 (EDT)
Check their latest activity. You can do that by looking at their contributions pages. Special:Contributions/Editor's Username Hope that helps! - Game LordTalk|Contribs 05:37, 24 April 2008 (EDT)
Cheers. This should help a lot.

Stop it[edit]

Please stop posting that question on my talk page. I have no intention of answering it and it's just going to be annoying. –RpehTCE 05:53, 1 May 2008 (EDT)

I am sorry, its just that volanaro was asking but he was to chicken to ask you himself.Benny220 05:56, 1 May 2008 (EDT)
And whlie we're at it, don't nominate me for the patroller position without so much as asking. --Volanaro 05:28, 6 May 2008 (EDT)

Warning[edit]

Stop hand.png Please stop bothering other users and disrupting the site's operation. While there is not a single edit that can be considered harmful on its own, summarized together they are. They leave me to suspect that the only reason you are making edits on this wiki is boredom and an intention to simply bother other users. The types of edits I'm talking about are:

While you may have been under the impression that such minor infractions were acceptable, I want to make clear they are not. You are still welcome to make helpful edits, but your current behaviour has to stop. --Timenn < talk > 06:17, 6 May 2008 (EDT)

Lets go over the facts shall we?

1) other users personal lives are none of your buisness
2) this is not a chat forum
3) Your intrussive questions could be counted as a personal attack which is a blockable offense.

I dont know what your opinions are on this matter and frankly i dont care. You have comitted acts of vandalism in the past and now your hobby seems to be clogging up the site with useless edits and harassing other editors. This is grounds for an immediate block should it continue, perhaps you will clean up your act soon but that isn't very likely is it?

Either way this stops now --Volanaro 05:20, 13 May 2008 (EDT)
