Skyrim:Add-ons

The UESPWiki – Your source for The Elder Scrolls since 1995
Jump to: navigation, search

This is a list of the official add-ons, downloadable content created or officially endorsed by Bethesda Softworks for Skyrim. Five add-ons have been released for Skyrim, with two free add-ons exclusive to the PC version of the game. The Creation Club provides additional official content for Skyrim Special Edition, created by both Bethesda and external developers. The Nintendo Switch version of the game features exclusive content that is unlocked in-game through the use of amiibo.

Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn are included as part of the Legendary Edition compilation and Special Edition. Neither of the free add-ons, Fall of the Space Core, Vol 1 and the High Resolution Texture Pack, are available for Special Edition. The latter add-on is made redundant for this release however, as Special Edition uses high-resolution textures in place of the original assets. The Anniversary Edition includes all three DLCs and all Creation Club content.

Creation Club

SR-misc-Creation Club Logo.png

Creation Club was an in-game microtransactional store for Skyrim Special Edition. A virtual currency called Creation Club Credits was sold within it, which was used to purchase unique add-ons called Creations. Each Creation is official Bethesda content, developed with third-party developers and contracted mod authors. As official content, Creations do not disable achievement acquisition.

The service entered beta on September 28, 2017 and officially launched on October 4, 2017. It was never available for Skyrim VR.

All 74 Creations are included in the Anniversary Edition. Special Edition and Switch users also receive free access to four Creations: Fishing, Rare Curios, Survival Mode, and Saints & Seducers. Several other discounted Creations were offered for free either on a permanent or temporary basis. On Switch, the Anniversary Upgrade with all the Creations is available, but not the Creation Club itself.

As of December 5th, 2023, Creation Club has been retired and the Verified Creator program is intended to be its replacement. While Creation Club Creations are considered official content, Verified Creations are effectively third party mods. Documentation for Creation Club Creations can be found on this page, while Verified Creations can be found in the Skyrim Mod namespace.
