Goblins are native to the Summerset Isles, and were here when the Elves first arrived from Old Aldmeris. The Altmer enslaved the native Goblins to perform their manual labor, but never quite eradicated the free tribes in the wild.

Toothmaul Gully

Toothmaul Gully is a cave in central Auridon, southwest of the town of Mathiisen and northwest of Tanzelwil. A tribe of goblins resides in the cave, though they have recently been disturbed by several Altmer intruders, including members of the Veiled Heritance.

Caerel the traveling merchant walks along the road nearest to the dungeon.

Spiders and torchbugs are found in numbers within. Hazards include bear traps.

Gully Side Chamber

Gully Side Chamber

A moss-covered wooden door on the northeastern wall of the Main Chamber marks the entrance to the Gully Side Chamber. It can be accessed during the companion quest The Garland Ring. The Ceythalmor has set up camp here, and multiple agents stand guard. The readable document Scrawled Ceythalmor Orders can be found on a cot near the entrance. A tunnel across the chamber leads south and east to the door to the Interrogation Chamber. Along the tunnel, a dead body lies on a cart.

Interrogation Chamber

The Interrogation Chamber can be accessed via a door from the Gully Side Chamber during the companion quest The Garland Ring. The chamber is small and appears to have been used as a torture room and prison for a captive of the Ceythalmor. It is littered with containers and cages. At the south end of the chamber is a back door that leads to a ledge outside of the gully.

Notes

• The Chief's Den originally had a bear skull. It was changed to a dragon skeleton some point after Update 8.
• If you go into the Chief's Den after completing the related quest, there will instead be random Toothmaul enemies for you to fight.
