My name is Lisa, and I am a twenty year old from the north of Ireland.

In 2006, my brother got Oblivion for Christmas as his second Elder Scrolls game - the first was Morrowind which he'd downloaded on to his username of the family computer so I knew nothing about it. Up to this point, I had heard nothing about the Elder Scrolls or even about Bethesda for that matter and so when this game arrived I was very intrigued and decided that I should basically watch my brother play the game from start to finish. This annoyed him to the point where he started barring the door to his room because I got so obsessed with the game that all I wanted to do was watch him play. To be fair, I was only twelve then. Can you blame me?

I was then given my own copy of the game and have been hooked on the series ever since.

Laetira "Thyatira" Veriyan[edit]

Laetira, a female Bosmer, is the current Champion of Cyrodiil. Her lineage traces back to a wealthy family in Arenthia in the north of Valenwood. Her father Arannir took his then pregnant wife Thyatira to Cyrodiil, where he took up a job as a farmer on a settlement owned by a Dunmer just across the border. The family was provided with a small home on the settlement for their services, and it was here that Laetira was born.

Her early life was spent in relative peace. Her days were filled with helping her mother with her culinary work for the household, spending time in the stables with the horses and watching the lords and ladies that came to visit the Dunmer family. Her father worked the land as a farmer and carpenter, her mother was a chef in the noble's home. Unrest was rife between her family and the family for whom they worked, however, their employer having developed affections for Thyatira and persistently attempting to woo her. After rebuking him for the fifth time, the Dunmer had Arannir sent out to an old mine to get some ore samples for examination - it is well known that the Dunmer was aware of the unstable nature of the mine and that one swing of a pickaxe would bring it down. Arannir's death was considered a tragic accident and was mourned among the staff of the estate, with Thyatira falling into a depression.

Through rumours amongst their fellow employees, the details of what transpired were soon made known causing Thyatira to fly into a rage and attack their employer. She and her now eleven year old daughter were kicked out into the wilderness with nothing more than the clothes on their back.

Fhaertala Sedrethi[edit]

Fhaertala Sedrethi is a female Dunmer native to Morrowind. A member of House Sedrethi via her father, Fhaertala's early life was a daily struggle. Her father was a known alcoholic, and was frequently prone to abusing her submissive mother and the children. Many speculated that it was his disgust at her mother being unable to give him a son that drove him to this act. He did not provide for them, instead preferring to live in a fine manor, instead of
