Stuga is an Orc courier from Forge-Mother Alga, tasked with inviting adventurers to Orsinium. She can be found standing in front of the Hammer & Saw Carpentry in Shornhelm. After giving you her message, she disappears and is removed from the game.

Quest-Related Dialogue[edit]

As you approach Stuga, she calls you out by saying:

Stuga: "You there! A moment!"

When you speak to her:

"Do you know how long I've been looking for you?"
You're looking for me?
"Yes. Here. A letter. From Forge-Mother Alga, King Kurog gro-Orsinium's mother. You're invited to visit Wrothgar and the new city of Orsinium. Ambassadors wait in Daggerfall, Davon's Watch, and Vulkhel Guard to provide transport."
Thanks. I'll review the invitation and look for the Orc ambassador.

She will say the following after accepting the quest:

"This is a singular honor, friend. Only the most notable adventurers received this invitation. Read it and follow its directions.
May your audience with King Kurog prove profitable to both you and Orsinium."

After leaving the town you accepted the quest in, Stuga will disappear from the game.

Removed Dialogue[edit]

This dialogue can no longer be heard in-game.

She will run up to you in Daggerfall, Vulkhel Guard, or Davon's Watch, saying "Do you know how long I've been looking for you?" If you speak to her, she'll hand over a letter:

"Greetings to you!"
A messenger delivered a letter to me. I think she wants me to read the letter.
"<The letter, from Forge-Mother Alga, King Kurog gro-Orsinium's mother, invites me and adventurers like me to come visit Wrothgar and the new city of Orsinium. Ambassadors wait in Daggerfall, Davon's Watch, and Vulkhel Guard to provide transport.>"
I'll look for the Orc ambassador.

After accepting the quest, if you talk to her, she'll only repeat, "Greetings to you!"

Notes[edit]

  • Before Update 38, Stuga would appear in major cities and endlessly chase players who had not yet accepted her quest. Combined with her repetitive line saying "Do you know how long I've been looking for you?", this became a common source of annoyance for players.
    • This has been acknowledged by the developers in the form of an April Fools article published on the official ESO website, where she was teased as a future Companion: Do You Know How Long This New Companion Has Been Looking for You?
    • The release notes for Update 38 had a header "Do you know how long I’ve been waiting for this change?!", announcing that Stuga would now remain stationary in the taverns of Daggerfall, Vulkhel Guard, and Davon's Watch. It also included a note about an unrelated bug that could send a player to "null space", saying: "No goodies out there in null space, just endless Stugas."
  • As of Update 40, she was moved to Shornhelm, receiving new voiceover in the process.
    • Stuga's original voiceover line was actually re-used from one of Shagora's lines of dialogue, where she says "Seqbar! Do you know how long I've been looking for you?"
