Labhraidh was a Reachfolk[1][2] leader of a commando associated with the Dark Witnesses, a faction aligned with the Reach who attempted to reclaim the lands in northern Bangkorai from Bretons. He led the group who attacked the town of Murcien's Hamlet. He was active during the Interregnum in 2E 582.[3]

History[edit]

Labhraidh's mother Medya Zurric

Labhraidh was born during Jester's Festival, on 28th Rain's Hand 2E 542 to village elder Medya Zurric, one of the survivors of the Black Drake's invasion in the settlement of Murcien's Hamlet in the northern Bagkorai.[4] At some point he joined the Dark Witnesses, and records of his birth were hidden from the public by his mother.[3][5] As of 2E 582 all survivors of the Durcorach's invasion except for Medya died and no inhabitants of the village were aware of the existence of Labhraidh. Ever since then Reachfolk never raided the settlement, avoiding it completely.[6]

It changed, however in 2E 582, when he led an attack of Dark Witness Reachfolk[7] on the Murcien's Hamlet.[5][8][9] He intended to kill the Breton inhabitants of the Murcien's Hamlet, sparing those civilians of the Reachfolk ancestry.[10][11][12] During the continuous attacks he fought against numerous knights and soldiers from Evermore. He murdered Sir Etienne Hu, a Breton knight who was lured to his family house as he was receiving treatment from his mother Medya. He later attempted to kill Squire Theo Rocque, but was stopped and killed by the Vestige in front of his mother.[13][3]
