Mages Guild[edit]

I need a new member to work on, I am not sure on what dialogue of Jeanne's we are missing, but I have finished Teekeeus and Adrienne. Who else is there to work on? --Manic 12:45, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

Well, since my notepad looks like this:
- I'd say you have finished all the Guild leaders - unless of course any of the scratched-out ones still needs that "all recommendations"-dialogue bit.
In any case, maybe you are up for two really big tasks? I'm talking about VIP-treatment of Raminus Polus and Hannibal Traven. For such a task, it demands that you have saves between all MG quests, right up to Mannimarco. It's a time-consuming job, but those two needs it badly. For a taste of what an VIP treatment looks like, check out Modryn Oreyn for inspiration. Otherwise, I'd suggest that you simply go through all the Mages Guild pages and check for missing footage - we made those very early in the project, and they are more or less incomplete, all of them. --Krusty 12:56, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
Sure I will happily get Raminus Polus and Hannibal Travern's dialogue. Your right, I have a few more of those Recommendations to put on, I will finish those a bit later. I'm busy collecting skulls for the hill of suicides atm :P. --Manic 13:14, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
At least none of them have complicated schedules, but all quest-related dialogue should be added in the preferred format for VIP-NPCs. I think Raminus should be a pretty easy one, but I'm not sure. :) --Krusty 13:17, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
As been as Raminus and Traven need alot of work I will do them first. Earana is missing alot of dialogue, Deetsan needs near enough all her dialogue and Kud-Ei is missing her Henantir quest so I will do those in between. Dagail is also missing her master training dialogue. I will get around to those. Once we have finished the Mages Guild, we can start on the Fighter's Guild :P. --Manic 16:16, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
Yep, you are right about all these pages; Kud-Ei needs the Henantier dialogue mainly because I couldn't bring myself to make her page any bigger, which is a poor ecxcuse, but I tried to squeeze some of it into Henantier's own page. Still, it should be on Kud-Ei's page for consistency. Deetsan could be a good one to get "fixed" quickly, as she plays a giant part and ends up as the guild head. As for Earana and Teekeeus - whatever works best for the pages. Reason I'm not helping you out more than all this talk page-"talk" is that I have my hands full - but as always, just let me know and I'll help! --Krusty 17:11, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
I understand. The reason why I am mentioning this is because it is handy to have an admin as a reference. If I begin altering lots of pages, people get suspicious; they can look at this conversation and see that I have been certified to do this, if that makes sense. I will keep you updated, but you don't have to worry about helping out, just concentrate on what you feel necessary. --Manic 17:19, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
When you have a spare moment, could you review my work on Ramnis Polus so far. I still have a way to go as I am doing small amounts at a time. But can you tell me if its not in VIP format. Here it is on my sandbox: here. --Manic 17:20, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

() Hey Manic. Seems like you are on the right track, but you need the headers for each quest, like on this page. Should be easy enough, as you have seemingly already divided it into "sections". Good work! --Krusty 18:35, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

Just a little update for you Krusty. My computer is old and features many problems, hence the reason of my lack of activity, so I have sold it. It will be collected tomorrow and I will receive my new one in a weeks time. Until then I have no choice but to put my project on the Mages Guild on standby for a week. I promise that when I obtain my new computer that I will double my efforts to catch up on the work. Hope this is ok, as I really want to finish what I started. Thanks. --Manic 22:11, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
Not a problem whatsoever! Good luck with the new computer - hope to see you back soon! --Krusty 20:42, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
I have returned :). I need your opinion. On Modryn Oreyn's page he has a section dedicated for rumors. So far for Raminus, I have listed the rumor after the appropriate quest to display at what stage it is heard. Do you think the rumors should have there own section, or should I keep them stage dependant after each quest dialogue? --Manic 15:28, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
A bit late but here goes; as for the Modryn rumors section, it was everything I could find in the FGConversations about the quests he is involved in - so I decided to try something new and attempted to tell a "story in rumors", just to have them listed. In the regular section on top of the page, he has a few "normal" rumors as well - and that should explain it. If you have quest-related rumors enough on Raminus, you can certainly attempt to do the same - and as long as you're in a Sandbox, just go ahead and try. I'll keep an eye out for it. :) --Krusty 09:17, 7 August 2011 (UTC)
From what I can see, the rumors don't really make a story like Modryn's, but I will see once I have collected all the rumors. I'm on my new computer now and it is having problems running the construction set. Could I ask you a favor. Could you please see if you can get any Vampire Cure quest rumors for me to add to Raminus' page. There is a rumor from the priests and one from Vincente I believe. Let me know, thanks. --Manic 13:20, 15 August 2011 (UTC)

() Okay, as far as I can tell (and I checked in-game as well), there are only two different rumors about the Vampire Cure. Vicente has the only unique one: "A cure? Yes... Yes, I believe it's possible. A mage named Raminus Polus has done some research. He's in the Imperial City, at the Arcane University." The other rumor belongs to all Healers: "A cure? You mean, besides death? Such a thing is beyond our control. The body is so warped by vampirism, few would be able to revert its effects. Even fewer would care to try. The guild of Mages might know more. Speak with Raminus Polus; he may be able to guide you." --Krusty 14:15, 15 August 2011 (UTC)

Thanks Krusty, that has saved me a good deal of time tracking them down. I know they are heard in game, I just couldn't get hold of it in the CS. I will add them to Raminus' page now :). --Manic 14:19, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
This is probably nitpicking, bit I'm not even sure Vicente is part of the Vampire Cure quest. When asked about "Cure for Vampirism" he will instead add Darkness Eternal with the above mentioned dialogue. Check this section. --Krusty 14:30, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
I see. You are right that Vicente is not scripted to be a part of this quest, however his dialogue is still valid to the quest, so I will add it to the Vampire Cure rumors for Raminus as it still points the player to him and speaks about him. I have added a little note at the bottom of Raminus' page about it. Thanks for pointing that out. --Manic 14:39, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
I need your help if that is ok. If you have any free time could you please find me all of Traven's greetings and rumors please. It will help me alot as chasing rumors and greetings can be annoying. Thank you. --Manic 18:00, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

Palm Tree prod[edit]

In response to your prod on the Palm Tree redirect, the entry for Palm Tree was removed after this discussion. It was removed by Legoless here. So it wasn't a mistake, just something overlooked by the community.--Kalis AgeaYes? Contrib E-mail 07:00, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Missing Dialogue?[edit]

Draw you attention to this section please, thought it would be worth asking you as you did the check for Thamriel. A while ago I noticed an interesting line which seems to have been intended for Thamriel but got assigned to Elragail instead (Elragail will never say it though as her dialogue about the Imperial City will always take prominence over this line). Would it be worth mentioning this on either Thamriel's or Elragail's artilce? --AKB Talk Cont Mail 15:43, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Looks like you are absolutely right; Thamriel doesn't speak about the IC, but Elragial has two IC replies. Bit odd, actually - and definitely worth mentioning on Thamriel's page (with an audio bite). Even weirder: the sentence 'touched by the gods' resemble Thurindil in Anvil to the letter! :D My own personal theory is that there is a Shivering Isles-like resident in all of the towns - but that is just my speculation! --Krusty 15:51, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Just A Thought[edit]

While studying the Garridan's tears quest I just wondered is it worth having a lore page for the Everflow Ewer or is it sufficiently describe on Garridan's page? --Manic 21:41, 28 June 2011 (UTC)

Well, first of all, you need to get rid of that note on S'drassa's page - just include his dialogue (and make sure that it is ALL there, right down to the "Hello's" and "ggodbye's", checked in-game. Then, you are absoultely right - contact Kalis Agea or Legoless and ask them to consider at Lore page. --Krusty 21:45, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
I'm all for more artifact lore articles. Garridan is also in need of a lore page, seeing as he's mentioned in the Fighter's Stronghold DLC as well. --Legoless 21:49, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
I'll say: Add it to your to-do list! Right after the camps! :D --Krusty 21:53, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
Yes I am looking to finish S'drassas dialogue by tonight. Just when I finish a mages guild member to move onto Raminus POlus, another springs up on my way :P Most of the information will be on S'drassa, Julienne Fanis and the Knightfall page (Once I have finished S'drassa). --Manic 22:24, 28 June 2011 (UTC)

Request for blocker rights[edit]

I have no intention on using it that often, but having another pair of eyes on the wiki to stop events from tonight from repeating themselves is a good thing. I won't try to revert everything that happens until the user is blocked (it's pretty pointless; I tried... but it's pointless lol). Elliot (talk) 03:49, 1 July 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, but no. Elliot was granted the rights because he is an "older" member, and mainly because he offered to help out during the recent attacks (see this talk). It doesn't seem to help anyway, as the vandal can do a lot of damage within minutes - but thanks for helping out! :) --Krusty 08:35, 2 July 2011 (UTC)

Small request...[edit]

I mocked up the main page here because the Featured Article section has been bugging me. I know it's mildly (read very) trivial, but the main page is rather important, and it needs to look professional. Is it possible for you to change that? Elliot (talk) 01:02, 2 July 2011 (UTC)

That looks pretty nice. Keep up the good work! --DKong27 Talk Cont 03:33, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
I more or less disagree; I made that silly Mantella because I think the FA needs an eye-catcher of some sort + the added bonus of an image on the Lore-page. Right now, the silly Mantella is centered so the layout fits with the FI -and I don't think your suggestion adds anything but make the FA a bit more uninteresting. That being said, it's not really important - but I like the thought of people thinking: "What is that weird green bulb floating in mid-air?" - and then click on the article. :D --Krusty 08:44, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
Haha I figured you would nitpick that part. It's the link that annoys me really... I could care less about the image. But it's just my OCD screaming. Elliot (talk) 16:43, 2 July 2011 (UTC)

UESPWiki Skyrim Redesign[edit]

Will this site be redesigning itself to look similar to the beautiful new style of Skryrim? — Unsigned comment by 38.104.99.130 (talk) at 14:35 on 7 July 2011

To be honest: no, I don't think so. A redesign of the entire Wiki will take months and months, and we have plenty of projects going which is far more interesting than how the site looks. Of course, there's a chance that some of the pages in the Skyrim namespace will get a new look (compared to other pages), but even that sounds like a bad idea to me. I have way too many times seen pages change their "old" design, just to experience a mighty drop in active editors and a ton of critique, because - "if it ain't broken don't fix it". --Krusty 14:43, 7 July 2011 (UTC)

Xaselm & Co[edit]

Ok, so I've been quite inactive recently but I now have saves over the whole SI questline (both Mania and Dementia) as well as a motherload of notes on places. Unfortunately I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon to no-internet holiday locations so it's goodbye till late August. However, in case you wanted to start Xaselm, this is what I had in mind. Since documenting all of the experiments on the page would make it enourmous I was thinking of making a "Xaselm Experiments" or "Xaselm/Experiments" (depending on which one is easier to trail, the latter methinks) page we could then link to. I've got images for all of them and I'll email them tomorrow. What do you think? --SerCenKing Talk 22:25, 7 July 2011 (UTC)

Haha, yeah - that sounds like a good idea. I ran through Xaselm a week ago and felt nervous about how to do it on the place page. A little bonus-page is definitely the way to go, at least as an experiment (pun intended) - if it looks awkward, we can always put the entire section at the bottom of the place page and link to the sections, although I think a separate page is the best plan. Just mail me the images (or upload them in a Sandbox) and I'll see what I can do in your absence. Also, if you have any notes/plans on how to set it up, it would be great if you could make just one entry before the holiday. --Krusty 22:33, 7 July 2011 (UTC)

Oblivion redesign project- Ribassa[edit]

Forgive me but I have seen that you are working or have worked on the Ri'Bassa page and I have a severe bug to report. I would do it my self but, forgive me, i haven't figured out how to add a bug when there is no pre-existing bug section. so I will let you handle this in case you already are. During the Sheogorath Shrine Quest, I have noticed that sometimes Ri'bassa will talk with other NPCs and will sometimes wander outside a house and trap himself between a stone fence, and a rock. When he was there I made the mistake of placing the olroy chees in the pot. the rats appeared, and he "tried to run through the fence" so he was unable to place the rat poison in the center of town. I killed all the rats manually, but he still would say that he has to put the poison down and the quest would never advance. So i quickly found that the only way to fix this is toload the last save and make sure that he is not trapped when you cook the cheese. if you have questions please reply to my discussion page as i will forget to check for a reply here. Veyond/Veyond Cave[edit]

Hey Krusty. I noticed that you removed the italicised notes from Oblivion:Veyond and Oblivion:Veyond Cave. I had added them to clear up confusion due to their similar name, as a disambig page wouldn't be very helpful. Is there a reason why they shouldn't be present? If it's because of the page layout, they'd look a lot better without the OPRP tag hovering over them. --Legoless 11:08, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I noticed that a search for Veyond went directly to the ruin - but only after removing the links. Until we can get the search function fixed, I have returned the notes to the respective pages, in the Notes section. --Krusty 11:56, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

Nanette Don[edit]

Despite not having seen her talking to Relmyna yet, I can use the console to make them talk. I just tried it, and quite fortunately it works, haven't even looked up the code or anything. Anyway, I was wondering, you would prefer a shot of them talking in the torture chamber (which would be the chamber with the cells and victims if I'm not mistaken). However, I think a shot of them talking at the 2 dead atronachs would look better. What do you think about this? ~ Dwarfmp 20:56, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

Sounds good to me! As long as they're together, and the setting is Xaselm-like and bizarre, I think the Atronachs will be fine - and obviously the less "messed-up" choice for an image composition. Only reason I suggested the experiment chamber was so we could use one of her strange hello's or goodbye's for an image caption, like: "I really wish they would stop yelling.", "It's so hard to concentrate with all that noise!" or my favorite: "Do you hear that sound? It's like a horse dying..." - but we can easily use them for the Atronachs as well. Looking forward to breaking up this wall of text. --Krusty 21:14, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
I went ahead and added the book reading-image from Relmyna's page, but it almost resemble the square image a bit too much. Nevertheless, it is not a disaster and in due time, we can replace the square image with a shot of her outside. Looking forward to the Nanette/Relmyna pic! --Krusty 20:40, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
Hey, sorry I haven't been doing much lately. I was taking advantage of the free playstation plus thingy, which lasted till august. So I should be doing more work again now. And I'll start with this pic I promised. Now, I've gotten a good angle (lighting wasn't helping out much), but now my question is: would you prefer Nanette being ... well somewhat surprised, I can't come up with the right adjective, so as in "What was that?"; or do you prefer an angry Nanette, as in "Will someone stop that racket?!". I also have normal ones I suppose, so I guess that's an option as well. I find it hard to pick since I like several, but since you had a caption in mind and all, I'm asking you instead ~ Dwarfmp 14:18, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
Hmm, that's a bit hard to say without looking at the images. You can always e-mail them to me (or upload the whole bunch, as they could be useful elsewhere?), but otherwise I'll let you decide what looks best. As you can see on Nanette's page, Ive already added the recent alchemy image - but Nanette looking a bit "worried" as in "What was that?" would be great. Again, just like you, I have trouble describing exactly what is the best image to use. --Krusty 14:57, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
Oh rats, I just noticed that Nanette in Passwall said square... I thought that would replace the Nanette reading picture, because the caption doesn't fit that one at all, thought that was meant for the Passwall one. Maybe we could leave that one, and replace the intropic of her reading. But then again, just a shot of her in Passwall doesn't seem special for it to be added as an extra picture... What now? ~ Dwarfmp 15:47, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
Haha, no trouble. I set up a Sandbox for testing and I think we have more than enough possibilities. As it is now, we only need to find the best captions (quoting Relmyna doesn't work) - and then I'm thinking about replacing the Nanette Don image on Relmyna's page with the exterior one. Feel more than free to experiment in the Sandbox - I'll have to go for the next hour or so, but we'll figure this out. :) --Krusty 16:10, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
I think the best attempt is in the sandbox right now. Adding an image underneath the NPC Summary seems a bit like overkill. Opinion? By the way, images are all great - LOVE the Kithlan one; how on earth did you do that? --Krusty 17:06, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
Nanette's page looks good like that, at least layoutwise. Well not that it's the wrong images, but maybe things can be improved on that part, who knows. And the Kithlan pic, hehe... well, I cheated actually. I've used that trick before, like with Bighead next to the Pitchfork statue, and Brithaur in Earil's shop. The truth is... they're fakes, clones of the originals, they don't move away every second, just standing perfectly still. But don't think about that, it may ruin the pictures! Brithaur was almost impossible to take a picture of, nevermind the way I took it, he kept entering the shop and leave after literally 5 seconds, and in this case, Kithlan runs up to you and then leaves after conversation, but I assume you know that. I'm going to bed now, going to take pictures later, the Daedric Shrine problem has been identified as you and Rpeh were right, check out those Nocturnal pictures! ~ Dwarfmp 17:22, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

Pages[edit]

So you undid my revisions? There was more than just changing references to the player character, I also improved different areas. I really hope you didn't remove that stuff, instead of just editing the player references. I'm not going to receive replies if you post them in your own talk page, only in mine (I only say this because many users do that, it makes it very difficult to exchange messages). --Foreborn 23:21, 26 July 2011 (UTC)

Nah, I didn't undo your revisions. If you take a look at the Recent Changes page, I have explained my actions in the edit summaries. For more information, click the "diff" button next to the edit in question. I changed the intro text to Ulfgar Fog-Eye, because it was both bad and incomplete to start with. Whether or not the wording is good I don't know, but that is more or less a typical quest description for a quest-related NPC (OBNPCRP guidelines...). As for the talk about "exchanging messages" - sorry, I don't know what you mean - but obviously, you can safely reply on your own talk, when someone writes you. Switching between my talk and your talk gets confusing after a while. -- Krusty 23:37, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
"Ulfgar Fog-Eye is an easily annoyed Nord commoner, who operates the lighthouse in Anvil. He has rented out the cellar of the lighthouse to a mysterious psychopath, an action he regrets." That was the primary addition to the specified page I made. The third sentence I tweaked somewhat from the original in an attempt to improve it, but it seems that sentence was doomed from the moment whoever made it, typed it.
I was talking about exactly what you just did, posting your replies in your own talk page. Ignoring the fact it's highly unorthodox, the people you respond do don't receive notifications; meaning a majority of replies go unnoticed. It's not a very reliable method for either party. I would have missed your reply completely if you hadn't posted that greeting earlier.
--Foreborn 00:57, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
Sorry to butt in, but if you want to be notified of replies you should add the editor's talk page to your watchlist. --Legoless 01:10, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
If you post something on someone's talk page and expect to get an answer, it's only normal to check out the page every once in a while (aside from having it on the watchlist). If this is too much of a bother for some reason, then you probably shouldn't leave a post at all ~ Dwarfmp 02:54, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
As a general rule, when someone writes you on your talk page, just reply there. --Krusty 05:24, 27 July 2011 (UTC)

Leaked Footage?[edit]

Per this edit, are we just ignoring the leaked footage? Of course it wasn't the best source to begin with, (The video he linked to was already taken down) but there might be some information of value to be taken from it. Either way, I'll go with whatever you think is best, (Unless other users wish to make this more of a site discussion) but it does make maintaining Skyrim Space a bit harder as a lot of new info came from this leak and a lot of users are reporting on what they found. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 01:02, 8 August 2011 (UTC)

I'm not Krusty, but I think citing the leaked footage is okay as long as we don't link to it. It will probably be officially released later, anyway. --Legoless 01:18, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
There is no point in citing something we cannot use to verify; it wouldn't be citation. We should stick to what has been officially published by BethSoft. Elliot (talk) 02:11, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
First of all, I don't really, for a second, believe the footage is "leaked" without Bethesda's knowledge - the Beth marketing department guys are way too smart for this, so just wait for an official copy and we can start adding the new features. While we play along with the rather annoying "it's been taken down from YouTube so its really illegal"-routine, in the process creating the wanted attention for Beth, maybe we should use our time discussing if we should semi-protect that Skyrim talk, before it explodes? --Krusty 05:03, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
I could support this proposal. There are already three archives for that page. The only problem with this idea is that all of the frequent, often inappropriate comments might drift into other areas of the site if we do. It could be worthwhile leaving it unprotected so that we can keep such topics in one place. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 00:15, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
When November rolls around, I will support semi-protection of the entire web-site, so this sounds good. It never hurts to try. Elliot (talk) 01:35, 11 August 2011 (UTC)

Gogan and Maelona[edit]

Since we left enough of a mess on rpeh's talk page, it's safe to continue the discussion here. Not that there really is anything to discuss anymore, but I just want to bring up a couple of things. Firstly, Gogan's page is very revealing (or how would you put that) towards him being a member of the Anvil guard etc., also with the guard picture being right under the stats menu. That is unlike Maelona, which puts that spoiler more to the end of the page, which is the way I think is best. I do realize you may have decided to reveal it in the intro all together just because you couldn't find a better spot for the guard image, and apart from the text, I don't think the image can get a better place, except for perhaps swapping it with the Sirens' image (though then that image wouldn't fit right neither with the text). Well I just wanted to mention that.

Another small, and pretty much insignificant thing: you have strange apostrophes, or rather 'fancy' ones that I can't even seem to find on my keyboard. Well anyway you probably noticed I've been replacing them with ' (apart from 'certain names'). Yes I realize I'm writing this in a pretty confusing way, but anyway, I replaced them for consistency, not because I think they're wrong or anything. Actually I think the difference is... no wait, you can use both as quotation marks and apostrophes. You see it confuses me... So I replace them. Oh and sorry if I ramble on about nothing and clogging up your talk page, but that's what it's for right? ~ Dwarfmp 01:02, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, Gogan's page is rather revealing - merely because I decided to use the old text. I'll try and cook up a more spoiler-free version, which shouldn't be a problem. There are some serious 'holes' in the quest story anyway, so it is probably worth it. As for the 'apostrophes'. yep, that's some kind of Mac-problem i haven't been able to solve yet. Same with "s - I have been through all available settings, but to no avail; I just can't stop the WIki making these things look fancy! --Krusty 06:07, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
Okay, I revamped it once again - unless I missed something, page should be as good as it gets. Had to rewrite the house contents (it wasn't really correct anyway) for layout reasons, and that section would shine if it ended with: "the sacks and chests are safe for storage" - something like that. Again, that is a CS-thing, but ending the section with the shoes seems clumsy. So if you could add the container info, I'd be most grateful! --Krusty 07:15, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

Thanks[edit]

Just want to take the time to say thanks for deleting the pic.Fin Dova Feyn 14:31, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

No problem! Must be the longest file name ever, though! ;) --Krusty 15:37, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

Another Thanks! And a Question.[edit]

Thanks a lot for the help with Amusei. Had I known the mess I was getting into I would have asked you before making any changes. Check my talk for answers to the questions you had for me (and some more thank yous). My question for here was: are there any other super messy NPCs that I should tread lightly with? If you can think of any that is. I'll also use my discretion as I continue to help the push for completing the ONPCRP! Also, if you need any CS checks like with Helvius, keep letting me know, makes me feel useful! --Loganfsmith 03:16, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

Hello again! As I said on your talk page, the new Amusei stuff is not a real problem, it's an opportunity to get it right. Well, for other nightmare NPCs, there's definitely Fathis Ules (and all the complex investigations are on my ridiculous Sandbox talk pages), the three inhabitants of the Black Horse Courier (I'll get back to you on these), Kantav Cheynoslin, Mirabelle Monet and a few others. As a general rule, if the schedules are overly complex with tons of quest-related changes, or you notice a major oddity when looking through the CS - it's worth it to check with the author - or look at the NPC talk page - just to make sure the oddity have been investigated and checked by everybody involved.
Bit of wishful thinking from me - if you could do the same to Methredhel as you did to Amusei, I would be most grateful. She's been bothering me for the longest time, mostly because she was the first VIP NPC ever created and has tons of small mistakes. Dialogue is written from the subs, and is absolutely lacking all hello's, goodbye's and what have we. No rumors on the page either. To see her get the loganfsmith-treatment would make me a happy camper. And when you ask about bug oddities ala Helvius, let me just say: Careful what you wish for! :D Kidding aside, I'll think of some problematic NPCs for you to deal with - believe me, I have tons. --Krusty 06:55, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Ask and you shall receive. --Loganfsmith 00:57, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
Ah, good old Meth - pointy ears and everything, but one of the coolest NPCs. Thanks! Investigations coming up - btw, do you have Shivering Isles? --Krusty 07:07, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
I do for the Xbox 360, but not for the PC. It shouldn't be much of an issue for me to get my hands on a copy for using the CS though. Any particular reason? --Loganfsmith 22:45, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
We have a few very tricky NPCs in the Isles, but let's just wait with that. What do you think of a guy like Glarthir? He is really overlooked, his house content is a bit too long, no dialogue, rumors or anything. If you jump on him, I'll help you out the best I can. Problem with G is that he seeks out the player right away, so his "normal" schedule can't be written from the game. Only if you feel like it, of course! :) --Krusty 22:54, 20 August 2011 (UTC)

DOH![edit]

Don't mind me, I'm just being an idiot.
Thought was a sign up list of sorts, not a place to put your name when you're done.
I'll remove my name, copy-paste the page to my sandbox, and get it done before you know it.

Plagiarism[edit]

Is copying large amounts of text from or to, say, this TES wiki, considered plagiarism, or is the text shared on UESP a free-for all? The text in question is the gameplay section of the Skyrim pages on both that wiki and ours. Neither page includes reference links to the other article, so I can't determine the creator. Broccollipie 12:32, 25 August 2011 (UTC)

Formatting[edit]

"By the way, you should move the information above to your userpage."
I would, but even my repeated attempts at formatting it so that is possible fail. Do you think you could add a box in the empty section on the right where I can freely add things? It would be much appreciated. Broccollipie 12:40, 25 August 2011 (UTC)

Done. As of now, you could use some more info next to the Userboxes! Hope you like it! --Krusty 17:48, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Thanks! Broccollipie 23:32, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
No problem! A bit of useful advice could be to look at other pages for layout inspiration, then simply copy/paste the code to your own page. In this case, I actually just copy/pasted my own user page onto yours and included your chosen userboxes. --Krusty 06:02, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
