Eight Cities Couriers Customers Faction[edit]

It says Thamriel is in the Eight Cities Couriers Customers Faction. Is this related to the unfinished quest that starts with the pop-up window: "New Topic: Do you need couriers?" --GuildKnight | Talk (contribs) 19:12, 13 March 2007 (EDT)

I don't think so, although it's hard to be sure with an unfinished quest ;) That quest appears to be "Imperial Express" (abbreviated ImpEx in many places in the construction set). The comments for the quest provide the following list of "recipients"
1 = Anvil, Counts Arms, Wilbur
2 = Anvil, Flowing Bowl, Maelorn
11 = Bravil, Lonely Suitor Lodge, Bogrum gor-Galash
12 = Bravil, Silverhome on the Water, Gilgondorin
21 = Bruma, Olav's Tap and Tack, Olav
22 = Bruma, Jerall View, Hafid Hollowleg
31 = Cheydinhal, Newlands Lodge, Dervera Romalen
32 = Cheydinhal, Cheydinhal Bridge Inn, Mariana Ancharia
41 = Chorrol, The Grey Mare, Emfrid
42 = Chorrol, The Oak and Crossier, Talasma
51 = Leyawiin, Five Claws Lodge, Witseidutsei
52 = Leyawiin, The Three Sisters Inn, Shuravi
61 = Skingrad, Two Sisters Lodge, Mog gra-Magakh
62 = Skingrad, West Weald Inn, Erina Jeranus
So Thamriel is not on the list; many people who are on the list aren't in the Eight Cities Courier Customers faction. I don't see much of anything associated with that faction at the moment. --Nephele 02:43, 21 March 2007 (EDT)
I don't think anyone else has noticed, but after doing the thieves guild quest Misdirection, she comments on it from shouting "RUMORS" at her, and after she says the line, you hear the voice actor quietly say "wait, let me try that one again" and she repeats the line, with the voice synching no longer working. Just thought this might be worthy of her wiki page, and also something explaining her weird introduction dialogue, about white creatures in the garden.--Odul. — Unsigned comment by Odul (talkcontribs) at 01:04 on 24 October 2007 (UTC)

Her behaviour at the 3rd of each month[edit]

Well, I tried to follow her around on this particular day, and she doesnt spend more than 30 in-game minutes at the Courier. She then appears to get out on some kind of non-existant mission (as already mentioned in her schedule) before she goes back to her routine at 4pm. I tested it on Tirdas, but I can't be sure how she will behave on other days, when the unfinished mission "ends". I tried to write it down, but further checking is probably nessecary. NOTE: What if Maenlorn is dead - will she just do her normal routine instead? And what does Maenlorn have to do with her, anyway? Krusty 05:28, 25 February 2009 (EST)

I would suppose that if Maenlorn is dead that part of her schedule is disabled. The reason why you don't see a link between the two is because the courier's quest was left unfinished; for example would you know Claude Maric without the Nothing You Can Possess quest? --SerCenKing 10:08, 25 February 2009 (EST)
I see. But I definately think it was a good idea to change the 3rd schedule to notes - she's pretty unpredictable on that exact day! Krusty 10:19, 25 February 2009 (EST)
As you might have noticed I did that shortly after posting the comment. Thanks for that. --SerCenKing 15:39, 25 February 2009 (EST)

Imperial Express quest[edit]

Upon first entering the Market District, a notice will appear in the upper left-hand corner of the screen reading "New Topic: Do you need couriers?".

My research indicates that this was suppose to be part of the Imperial Express quest. But this quest was never written, although it has a stub in the constructuion set.

Although the quest was never written, the notice was never removed from the game. As I new player, I saw this message and tried to find the NPC this was related to. Then I searched the wiki and finally found my way here.

Any sugguestions about how we should handle this in the Wiki. Should we create a quest page for a quest that does not exist yet causes a pop up? --Jxavier Talk - Contribs 20:27, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

We have a page, found here. :) –Elliot talk 20:32, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
I must have made some mistake on my search. I tried again after reading your reply and now the Unfinished Quests article came up third in the list. Thanks --Jxavier Talk - Contribs 21:00, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

death by bandit?[edit]

I just found this woman dead by the side of the road just southwest Fanacasecul. No idea how she died though, there isn't a bandit in sight. Will she be fine (i.e. start/continue acting according to her script) when I resurrect her? Pinguin333 10:38, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

She makes monthly trips towards Skingrad, so it's likely she got killed while on that journey. Resurrecting her shouldn't mess anything up, although the possibility of her getting killed again obviously exists. Talk Wolok gro-Barok Contributions 10:43, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

Missing dialogue???[edit]

I found this while editing Elragail's page, "I beg your pardon. The city? Here's the city. All around us. A thousand stones, a thousand souls. I hear them all. Sometimes. But not right now. They're all quiet. Did you frighten them away?" this is only associated with Elragail, but considering the general craziness of the comment I think this line was supposed to belong to Thamriel instead. The scripts note for this also seems to be similar to the style used for the only line that Thamriel has when compared to Elragail's style, "REC - madness? or sensitive and clairvoyant? who knows? but definitely crazy"

Do with this what you will. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 05:32, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
