Factions starting with D[edit]

Hi, I notice you are reverting my explanations of the factions on this page. Can I ask why you do not like them?

Indeed. Why are you deleting Jadrax's contributions to the Factions page? Your edit summaries do not make much sense. Telling him to stop deleting content and instead tell what these factions do is strange since that's exactly what he's doing. I don't know if his contributions are correct, but from the look of it, it seems valid and looks no different than other entries which are already done. Talk Wolok gro-Barok Contributions 09:54, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
I am reverting the edits because of ES's like this and this. What happened to using talk pages if pages were incomplete? --Krusty 10:03, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
How does the fact that you are deleting the information that I am adding making the page incomplete? Jadrax 10:05, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
What's wrong with these edit summaries? True, one could leave out the pointless part, but it appears it is pointless. The information Jadrax added is what it's all about, and I believe there is no reason to delete that. Talk Wolok gro-Barok Contributions 11:12, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
If the edit summaries are the only issue, I am happy to return the information using a different comment, they are only supposed to be informative of why I am adding information anyway. Jadrax 11:28, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
It looks to me like this is a case of confusion. Those two factions are pointless, as the text Jadrax added spelled out, but the E/S makes it sound like content was being deleted even though that was not the case. I just took a quick look in the CS and both factions really are unused and so pointless. rpeh •TCE 11:42, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
Ah, sorry. Indeed it was a misunderstanding. I just looked through all the edits once more, and I can see the point. Never edit before coffee and all that. Sorry for reverting! --Krusty 05:28, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
No problem, mate. Jadrax 09:36, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

Thanks[edit]

Thanks for that... Guess I'm still a bit wiki-rusty :P --SerCenKing Talk 11:09, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

Haha, no problem. Actually, I'm having huge trouble checking all the new dialogue additions on various pages. My "super-computer" is being repaired so I'm using an old and very weak one - meaning it will crash every time I try to open up my 8000 page dialogue sheet. Still, I managed to open Adeo's dialogue and noticed the mistake. Btw, when are you back in full gear? ;) --Krusty 11:14, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
I'm officially finished with school and will probably be back in business on Friday :) --SerCenKing Talk 11:16, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

A quick Q[edit]

Hi Krusty! It's been a long time, eh? Anyways I'm just passing by to ask you a quick q, where can you verify the rumors from the CS? I thought I ask you because I see that you've been recently adding rumors from the CS and since you seem to be around at the moment I couldn't let pass the opportunity. FYI, yes that means I'll be more active in the few days, checking and writting for the project, so if you want an NPC finished just tell me and I'll see what I can do ;) --S'drassa T2M 23:05, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

Hey S'drassa! Yeah, it's definitely been a long time and it is good to see you back! First of, when I write dialogue and rumors, I refer to a dialogue sheet I have on my computer, containing all the dialogue in the entire game. It is extremely useful and gives me a basic idea about the personality of the NPC. I then check in-game to see what dialogue bits are actually used "live", even if the rumors can be pretty hard to find. So, to answer your question, I'm not entirely sure HOW to check/write rumors from the actual CS, and my rumors will often be a bit incomplete compared to what a guy like Rpeh can find, so you should probably ask him. As a result of my dialogue sheet technique, when I have added some rumors, it might not be a complete list (for example, when random citizens talk about an NPC there will often be a response linked to the first rumor). All I can do is doing a "find" search in my document and write down what lines of dialogue contains the NPCs name. On the other hand, we need to get the project done, so my additions should, even if they might be incomplete, help us move forward. --Krusty 06:10, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
Sorry to scrape in guys, and welcome back S'drassa! There are two ways of checking for rumors on the CS. One way is to select an NPC, right-click and select "Use Info" - all the rumors, scripts, quests etc related to the NPC shows up. A slightly better way, in my opinion, is to go "Edit", "Find Text" and then type in the NPCs name. This gives you all the times the NPC's name is used. To double-check, try looking at dialogue from friends or partners, as the may not always refer to the NPC by name. Hope that helps! :) — Unsigned comment by SerCenKing (talkcontribs) on 8 July 2010

OB-npc-Amusei and Armand.jpg?

I'm not sure. I know you don't like the same picture on three pages, but I think it emphasises the nature of the contest. I'm open to alternatives though. rpeh •TCE 21:50, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

Or the new version. Take your pick :) rpeh •TCE 22:05, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

Amusei is quite a project[edit]

Hey Krusty, I finally got a chance to read through the Amusei project like you asked in IRC; you've got quite a job there :P Anyway, there were a couple areas that could use some minor tweaks, but nothing huge. Seeing as there still seems to be a fair amount of work to do, I figured I'd hold off on any cosmetic edits until you're happy with the information you've got. Just let me know when you think it's ready, and I'll be happy to go over it again (I'm actually planning to start a new character soon, so I might be able to provide some more tangible assitance as well in the near future). Dlarsh(T,C) 01:19, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

I may also be able to help out with this - to a point. I'm in a play right now and we're doing a lot of rehearsals so my schedule is kinda wonky; tomorrow I have rehearsal then three day open, from the 17th - 21st I have rehearsals and then from the 22nd - 25th I have performances, another three days open and after that performances from the 29 - 1st of August.--TheAlbinoOrcGot_a_question? 02:34, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
>Dlarsh> Thanks for reading through the whole thing - you're right, Amusei is a much bigger project than I ever imagined, but fortunately, a lot of users have helped out. I really hope I can launch it soon. As for the incompleteness of the page, I don't think you have anything to worry about. As far as I'm concerned, the schedule is finished - IF he travels to Skingrad at stage 80 of Ahdarji's Heirloom, I'll put it under Bugs anyway, as it is more or less impossible for people to experience without the UOP. The last question (What he is doing behind the door in Leyawiin) doesn't really belong in the schedule and I'm not sure there will ever be a useful answer. In short, just go ahead and proofread/tweak the entire page, including my uninspired descriptions in the Quest-related Events section. Thanks! --Krusty 07:29, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Wait a sec...[edit]

The Myrvana that was previously there lives in the IC, so If I am reading this correctly, the Orum gang delivers the Skooma there, then? 184.77.194.254 21:31, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

Yes, that's why the bay horse is near the entrance.--Corevette789 21:32, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
Well, it is a long and complicated thing, and we haven't quite finished Oghash gra-Magul's schedule yet. Still, if you look at her page (third section), a lot of it is explained there. Furthermore, when she dismounts the bay horse, 10 bottles of Skooma will spawn inside the barrel outside Myvryna's house. --Krusty 21:35, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
Well, Myvryna Lives in the IC. There is a diffrent Arano with a name with very similar spelling in Cheydinhal, Who is also a female dunmer. Naturally, I Assumed the one that lives in the same city as the orum gang, was the correct one. 184.77.194.254 21:46, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
No worries - their names are so similar, it is quite human to make that mistake. And you reminded me that we should take a closer look at Oghash and that Skooma barrel. The information on the Skooma page is actually a bit off - she arrives in the Waterfront on Tirdas and the Skooma will spawn on that day, not on Middas. Still, it's probably better to test that problematic schedule a bit more before changing. --Krusty 21:59, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

An apology.[edit]

TheEnigmaticMan wishes to apologise for his obstinacy regarding the inclusion of the Elven Map Redux on the must have mods page.
TheEnigmaticMan 15:34, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

No worries. You did a good job on the page, sorting out the many different mods. Unfortunately, at the same time as your clean-up project, the page experienced a huge load of advertising edits by several different anons. As a result, the page had to be semi-protected, receiving a whole lot of attention in the process. I too regret my post about console players vs mods and all that. It wasn't exactly thought through and was a bit unfair. When a page have experienced a lot of traffic and a lot of reverts, things can get a bit heated and it all went out of line. Hopefully we can continue our work and deal with the page in a way satisfactory to everybody. --Krusty 15:56, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
TheEnigmaticMan has decided to get a grip and will continue with scheduled changes, though with a notable omission. --TheEnigmaticMan 17:33, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

A photography page?[edit]

Roleplaying[edit]

My biggest pet peeve on the wiki is, by far, The Roleplaying pages. I'm thinking I want to start cleaning them up, but that would cause the deletion and changing of alot of repetitive, bad content. That is, to say, most of the content. I was wondering if I should do this, or would it casue too much of a rift in the roleplaying world. (This is the only way I'd stand those pages without total deletion) --Arch-Mage MattTalk 18:45, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Hmm, the best thing you can do right now is participate in the discussion about moving it into userspace. I'm not too happy about the pages either, but several deletion attempts have been opposed, and the last attempt to delete the entire section (by RobinHood70) resulted in Nephele's suggestion. Somehow along the way, the idea died and the best thing to do right now is to get it back on track. --Krusty 19:03, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Welcome back / request[edit]

Good to have you back, and I hope you had a nice, relaxing break. I also hope you didn't start following random people around and making notes about their schedule. Habit can be a hard thing to break!

Now you're back in the Euro timezone, please can you remove my block rights? They were necessary while nobody else was around, but I don't need them now. Thanks. rpeh •TCE 12:13, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Anvil Mages Guild Image[edit]

Hiya. I uploaded OB-place-Anvil Mages Guild.jpg and removed the cleanup from the other one (OB-place-Mages Guild Anvil.jpg). Two images might be an extravagance, but I really like AlbinoMudCrab's night shot of the guild. rpeh •TCE 09:54, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Brilliant! Thanks a lot. To be perfectly honest, I like the night shot too but made it a "cleanup" simply because it was easier to explain my intentions. Much easier to rename the image afterwards. ;) Also, a nice shot of the action on the Gold Road! Good work, mate! --Krusty 12:50, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

You Are Cordially Invited by[edit]

Countess Alessia Caro, to the dinner party held at User:TheAlbinoOrc/Sandbox/12.

Signed,

Hlidara Mothril, Stewardess, County Leyawiin, for Her Excellency Countess Allessia Caro

In other words I saw that Hlidara Mothril's page was one of the ones that needed work and that it was on your to-do list so I let you know that I had a sandbox where I was working on it.--TheAlbinoOrcany_questions? 23:04, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Haha, thank you so much for the invitation! I'm not sure, but Hlidara could be a bit easier to finish than she "used" to be. Back when S'drassa wrote the first schedule, the page for Alessia was non-existant, so it was a bit hard to know what was going on during Sanguine and that Chorrol-trip. Since Hlidara follows the Countess at all times, and since Alessia's page is finished, it is more or less a copy/paste question, with a few exceptions that I planned to investigate:
  • What will Hlidara do when the Countess finally sits down at the dinner table during Sanguine?
  • Why will Hlidara abandon the Countess when she visits Mahei on Turdas? Why won't she enter Mahei's house?
  • Will Hlidara follow the Countess at ALL times - even the buggy ones, like the infamous trip to Chorrol?
  • Does she have any additional dialogue from the Ahdarji quest?
  • Is it worth including all the rumors once again (Alessia and Hlidara more or less shares the rumors, as evident on Alessia's page)?
  • Is it true that Hlidara is "immune" to Stark Reality (mentioned here) - and is it worth mentioning?
  • What will Hlidara do if the Countess dies?
That should keep you going for a bit, your excellency! ;) --Krusty 06:54, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
You're welcome! She does follow Alessia on her trip - unless she has some other reason for being on the road to Chorrol? As for why she won't go into Mahei's house I don't know; the last time I ran into her she wasn't in town and I was doing some experiments with the Staff of Worms. My preliminary thought is: are we sure she follows the Countess rather than the Bodyguard? But that's not based on any testing yet.--TheAlbinoOrcany_questions? 23:14, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
Your last question/theory is an interesting one, so I added that last question to be checked: What will Hlidara do if the Countess dies? --Krusty 15:26, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
I tried to cleanup the mess that I left, however some questions can't be answered on her page so I'll answer them here:
  1. Answered
  2. Because the door is owned by the Mahei Family faction, to which she doesn't belong.
  3. Answered
  4. Answered
  5. The only rumors that I think are unique to her are "The Countess is very happy to have her ring back. I don't think she has taken it off for days. If you want to hear the whole story, talk to Hlidara" and "I don't know where she keeps the ring, but I know who does. Talk to Hlidara Mothril, the Countess' handmaiden. She eats dinner in the castle at the eighth bell. You may have to sweet talk her, but she knows all about Alessia Caro's habits and schedules." Not sure if they are worth adding, though.
  6. Yes, only memebers of the DASanguineNakedFACTION are affected.
  7. I'm not really sure, my guess is that she will simply find Alessia's corpse and then stare at it until either her eating or sleeping package kicks in.
Hope that clears up most of the questions :) --S'drassa T2M 03:39, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

() Nice work, S'drassa. Still, as I suspect you wrote the latest corrections from the CS(?), they should all be checked in the game. Example given:

  • I have never seen her riding a horse, nor have I seen Alessia on a horse. Might have something to do with cells or whatever, but it is worth checking out.
  • I have done the Sanguine quest count(le)ss times and Hlidara will always stand by her side at the dinnertable. Seems like the package at the Private Quarters never kicks in. More testing coming up.
  • Hlidara being affected by the Countess' Chorrol-bug should be mentioned as well.
  • Hlidara following the Countess at her random visits to Mahei between 10am and 1pm should be mentioned.
  • We need to kill the Countess and see what happens.

--Krusty 08:21, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Well I saw her on a horse when she was going to Chorrol. Unfortunately I haven't gotten much other testing done yet because Hlidara and the countess are nowhere to be found (this could have something to do with leaving the game up for 15 - 20 minutes by mistake). I'm going to check Leyawiin later tonight or tomorrow just in case she left already.--TheAlbinoOrcany_questions? 16:43, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
The problem with the horse seems to be caused by the trio always leaving Leyawiin through the North East Gate, which will bring them nowhere near Five Riders Stables and will force them to walk all the way. At the moment, I have no idea how to make Alessia leave town through the West Gate, but it probably has something to do with cells, fast-traveling and all the usual problems they cause. I will try to dig deeper, but at the moment the only test I can think of is waiting outside the West Gate (different cell) and see what happens. --Krusty 12:48, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
If the Countess dies, Hlidara seems to continue to Accompany her until you leave the cell, but after that, the Accompany packages all fail and she devolves into just eating and sleeping, staying wherever she last was when those packages aren't active.
As for the horses, if you follow the Countess and her retinue closely, they'll walk to Chorrol; if you don't, they'll magically find horses instead of walking. :) Oh, and another anomaly I noticed with the horses: they have absolutely no respect for their riders' desire to keep up with Alessia, so they'll lag further and further behind as time goes on (at least assuming that Hlidara and the Bodyguard's horses are moving slower than Alessia's, as they were for me). Robin Hoodtalk 17:10, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
Hmm. Hlidara was on a horse but Alessia and the Bodyguard were walking. Is that consistent with what you've seen? Also Alessia hasn't gotten back to Leyawiin as far as I can tell. Where does she go upon entering Chorrol?--TheAlbinoOrcany_questions? 18:37, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
If we forget about the horses for a while, here is what I wrote on rpeh's talk page back in the day when I started investigating Alessia:
She leaves the castle at 6am on the 15th and then her messy packages sends her back and forth between Chorrol and Leyawiin (take a look at RH70’s investigation here), sometimes for more than two days, sometimes forver. RH took a shot at an explanation, but I followed her for nearly seven in-game days and she just kept going back and forth. She wasn’t stuck, she wasn’t riding a horse and she wasn’t even essential. How is it possible for her to stay in a “loop” between two packages? As far as I’m concerned, this is a one-time-only bug, but it would be interesting to know what is going on – not particularly for the NPC page but for the two quest pages, where only fuzzy and uncertain explanations can be found.
This is probably why Alessia haven't returned yet - maybe, in your game, Alessia managed to be so bugged that even Hlidara didn't want to follow her anymore? Problem with Hlidara is, if the Countess is bugged (which she obviously is, and very seriously) then the dutiful Hlidara will suffer from the same bugs, even if her schedule is okay. --Krusty 18:54, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
Well all of them have disappeared actually not just Alessia. What I find odd is that after 7.5 - 10 hours (in-game of course) she was nowhere to be found. She should still have been in Chorrol at that point shouldn't she?--TheAlbinoOrcany_questions? 19:21, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

() Haha, she is tricky! Just to get every input recorded here, I'll add this link for now. It features S'drassa's CS observations on the Countess' buggy Chorrol trip. Oh and by the way - if the Countess is gone (and you're sure she is still alive e.g. essential) you can try my personal technique. From Castle Leyawiin, fast travel to Castle Chorrol and enter. Exit Castle Chorrol and fast travel back to Castle Leyawiin. Use the wait feature until the Countess is scheduled to be on her throne. That worked for me countless times when I investigated the bug, but unfortunately, I always investigated during Sanguine. Hopefully, it works outside the quest as well. --Krusty 19:32, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

Edit Break 1[edit]

Argh. She didn't show. The courtyard works though right? I don't have to actually go in to the town of Chorrol right?--TheAlbinoOrcany_questions? 19:34, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

It is my own personal theory, and it might not work for you. You will have to fast travel from Leyawiin to Castle Chorrol - enter Castle Chorrol, then exit - and fast travel back to Leyawiin again and enter the castle. You sure she is essential? --Krusty 19:39, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Ah. Enter I did not. Thus that the problem is.
Also once we finish up with Hlidara Motheaten Kurdan gro-Dragol has some weird stuff going on. See Daenlin's talk page for more on that.--TheAlbinoOrcany_questions? 19:44, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Tanj it. She's still gone. Unless she died on the road somewhere she's simply vanished totally and completely.--TheAlbinoOrcany_questions? 23:43, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Well, I tested my tiny theory about waiting for Alessia and friends outside Leyawiin, near the stables, at 6am, hoping that they would find their way out the other gate and mount the horses. Absolutely nothing happened. I then tried to follow Alessia and friends to Bravil, hoping they would turn around (and go back south to the stables) after crossing the bridge after Blankenmarch - nothing happened. I doubt it is possible to see them mount the horses. How should this be described on the NPC pages? --Krusty 20:15, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
Well I've copied her page to a sandbox so that we can do the standard NPC investigation stuff of writing notes on the page and all that. Hopefully we can get all this cleared up!--Ghurhak gro-Demril or TAOYes? 18:47, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

() We should definitely be able to get her finished soon - I simply had to put her a bit down my priority list and haven't had the time to look at the page for weeks. Nevertheless, I'll get back to Hlidara after I'm done checking Audens Avidius. :) By the way, did you copy the info from your old Sandbox (which is updated) or her page (I'm unsure if that one is as updated as your Sandbox)? --Krusty 18:51, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

My old sandbox. Odd that it would be more updated though since I copied it from her page in the first place... Maybe I added stuff to it and don't remember?--Ghurhak gro-Demril or TAOYes? 18:57, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
P.S: Is there anything you need help as far as Audens goes?--Ghurhak gro-Demril or TAOYes? 18:58, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
(e/c) Haha, I don't remember either, but I do remember updating your Sandbox every time her page was updated - so the new one should be complete. As for Audens, not yet - he's just a long and complicated NPC to check, because of the countless changes he suffers during his related quest. --Krusty 19:05, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
Well I tried my hand at a horse note. What do you think?--Ghurhak gro-Demril or TAOYes? 22:41, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
It's almost good, but sounds a bit weird in the beginning? Typo? Nevertheless, the "long" explanation should be added to the Notes section - and the main schedule should mention it briefly, if possible, without ruining the flow. --Krusty 22:46, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
You're right it did sound weird there - I think I fixed it though. How about you?--Ghurhak gro-Demril or TAOYes? 22:53, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

Haha, okay. Still, the page needed a bit of clarification since the 4th sample is easily missed within the text, so I tried to correct that while I was there. --Krusty 05:44, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, it definitely needed the "another" instead of just "an". Robin Hoodtalk 06:00, 29 August 2010 (UTC)

Dawnstar Knightbalde/Nightblade[edit]

I assume the spelling of 'Knightblade' that you have used in a couple of places at [[User:Krusty/Sandbox/Dawnstar]] is incorrect and it should always be 'Nightblade'? Jadrax 15:09, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, you are right. It should always be 'Nightblade' - I'll keep that in mind the next time I change the page. --Krusty 15:17, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Hopefully, I won't need 'em. rpeh •TCE 07:50, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

Well, seems like a quiet day all in all. I'm back online, so I removed the Blocker rights again. It was not the longest time, but sundays can sometimes spawn quite a bit of vandalism, so better safe than sorry. :) Thanks! --Krusty 14:34, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

Kurdan gro-Dragol[edit]

moved to Kurdan's talk page.

Camps[edit]

What exactly was the "camp idea"? I saw something about this a while back but no-one ever clarified. I even asked Corevette but he just said "it was an idea Krusty had a while ago".--TheAlbinoOrcany_questions? 22:40, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

Oops, forgot to answer this question last night. The "Camp Idea" was just something floating around on the IRC for a couple of weeks. If you go through the camp pages for Oblivion, you will notice that they are extremely bare-bones. I suggested to Corevette (who has the CS and was looking for a project at the time) that he made a mini Oblivion Camp Redesign Project, made the OB Camp pages consistent with the SI Camp pages, which means mentioning safe containers, description of the surroundings, inhabitants and number of bedrolls, tents, ect ect. I still think they are too bare-bones at this point, and I'm still thinking about adding them to the Task List. --Krusty 14:53, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
I'd say you should go ahead and do it! I agree that the camp pages in OB need some fleshing out and this sounds like a good method!--TheAlbinoOrcany_questions? 18:47, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

N-Gage[edit]

Didn't win :(

Somebody sniped in at the last second and went to £31. There's another one here if you're interested... rpeh •TCE 13:57, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Haha, I actually thought it was you being sneaky, raising the bid to 31 in the last second. I'll take a look around for another good offer - that link of yours is very tempting, and overly cheap, so that could very well be it - unless of course, the prize gets too high. Thanks for trying - let's hope for success the next time! :) --Krusty 14:10, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
Ahh ebay and the last-second raise trick, done that quite a few times myself xD I haven't used Ebay in time but I believe you can set a reserve price which is hidden. So if you offer £5 with reserve £7, you make sure almost no-one does that last-second thing, because most people tend to up the price by 1£ or something. Of course, then you have to pay £7... But I don't know if there is still that option, I used to go on ebay in 2008 :P --SerCenKing Talk 14:47, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Done![edit]

I've moved all the pages into the proper userspace (Unless s/he made more) so you can go ahead and speedy them!--TAOHuh? 19:32, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

I can see AMM is proposing the pages for Speedy Deletion right now and, to be honest, that is the proper way of handling it - so I'll let him finish. In the meantime, the page you proposed for "normal" deletion, could you change that to a Speedy? --Krusty 19:40, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
I just did, checking the user's contributions. You'll probably have realised that by the time you read this, though. :) --Arch-Mage Matt Did I Do That? 19:42, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
Sorry... but I don't believe Speedy Deletion is appropriate here. I don't believe any of the criteria specified in the Deletion Policy are met, so it should really be Proposed Deletion. rpeh •TCE 19:47, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
He created some in the userspace, under User:Criminal, for example, so those are qualified for speedy deletion. And the others... why not? They were made in a mistake, so doesn't that qualify for speedy deletion? --Arch-Mage Matt Did I Do That? 19:52, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
It meets "If a user or user talk page is created and there is no user to match that page".--TAOHuh? 19:53, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
Apologies, yes - the User pages can be speedied, but not the others. I should have been clearer. rpeh •TCE 19:59, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
Since TAO just moved all the content to the Ideas page of the user, why don't we just replace them with a redirect? ...And delete the redirects, then? :p --Arch-Mage Matt Did I Do That? 20:02, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

() I believe they'd qualify under the redirect rules, once moved, and if we allow WP's requirements as an extension of our own, they would certainly qualify under G6. Technical deletions. Robin Hoodtalk 20:22, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

Sorry,I really can't see the point in keeping these new pages for a week, as it will only lead to more dreadful discussions about Roleplaying. Also, the User in question starts his RP namespace page with this statement: "Many Dedicated Readers will realise that this is in fact the old pages combined into one, with some slight edits. i have done this to preserve the old ways. more will be added so as the material will not get old." To be honest, I find that statement slightly provocative - it basically means that the user knows what is going on, have read through the discussion and the Deletion Review - and is clearly trying to provoke a reaction. When that didn't happen the first time around, he started to make all the new pages. Keeping these pages around while we discuss policies for Speedy vs Regular Deletion will only cause him to keep going. --Krusty 20:26, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
Just to echo my thinking in IRC to the official discussion, what I see as appropriate here is that the information be moved back to Dagon21's roleplaying page (as TAO seems to have done), and then either the pages can be speedily deleted as "technical deletions" (as I mentioned above), or if not, they should be prodded and soft-redirected to Dagon21's Roleplaying Ideas page. Robin Hoodtalk 21:01, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
Hey, I totally agree that there's no point in keeping these pages, but recently we've seen one particular admin being a policy stickler above and beyond any level of common sense. I'm just saying. Either we allow common sense deletions or we don't. I'm in favour, but I'm not sure about others. rpeh •TCE 21:39, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
@Krusty: Why is it that the username of the person that made the pages, mentioned in connection with deliberate attempts to provoke people, sounds familiar? Is it just my brain making random connections? Or am I remembering something old?--TAOHuh? 21:44, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
(e/c) Well, for now, I deleted the Username pages as they were clearly wrong. If somebody could prod the other pages "normally" I would be a happy camper, mostly because this is a time for celebration. :) --Krusty 21:51, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

Archiving?[edit]

Since the page as a whole is 56 kilobytes long you might want to think about archiving it. Just letting you know since you might not check the whole thing often.--TAOHuh? 20:59, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

No worries - only problem is, we have a lot of on-going NPC discussions (Hlidara, Ra'jiradh, Kurdan), so I'm going to wait just a bit longer with the archiving.... --Krusty 21:02, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
