Oblivion talk:Alberic Litte
Number 2 inside house[edit]
For some reason, inside of Alberic Litte's house, the top shelf of the bookshelf next to the bed on the top floor, there is a number "2". (If it matters, I'm playing on the Xbox 360 version, with the latest patches installed) Has anyone else ever noticed this? RvB Private Caboose 21:25, 1 August 2007 (EDT)
- I checked and it's there on the PC. I've never seen it or any other numbers before; I wonder if there are others. Vontos 23:03, 1 August 2007 (EDT)
- That's what I'm wondering as well. I checked the rest of his house, but I didn't see anything else unusual. I checked some other houses nearby as well, but still nothing.RvB Private Caboose 14:29, 3 August 2007 (EDT)
- What do you mean by a 'Number 2'? You don't mean what I think you do......do you? ^^--Willyhead 14:51, 3 August 2007 (EDT)
- No, I am talking literally. By "the Number 2", I mean the numeral that follows 1 and precedes 3. Not what you are thinking. RvB Private Caboose 02:35, 4 August 2007 (EDT)

- Yep, there's a static object there, creatively named in the construction set "02" (FormID 00010587). Because it's a static object, it is purely decorative: you can't pick it up or move it. There's also an "01" object (FormID 00010583), which, you guessed it, is the number "1". Both are used in a few inns as door numbers: in the Border Watch Inn they appear beside the bedroom doors; in the Oak and Crosier Tavern in Chorrol they appear above the doors; and, in the Five Claws Lodge in Leyawiin they are beside the doors. Alberic Litte's house is the only unusual case where the number has no apparent purpose (and it's the only time where "2" appears without a "1"). I have no idea why it was placed there. --NepheleTalk 01:53, 6 August 2007 (EDT)

- Perhaps he spent a night in an inn but couldn't fit the towels in his suitcase. Vontos 02:03, 6 August 2007 (EDT)

Chests in the basement[edit]
I think we should mention the two locked chests in the basement, not only for consistency with other pages, but because they hold the most valuable items to be found in the house. I didn't write anything, because I'm not sure how leveled the equipment-chest is. --Krusty 18:34, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
Glitch[edit]
As with that one Fence from the Theives guild, when i talk to him I dont get the option to barter. 75.85.240.138
- Well he doesn't actually sell wares, just spells... Can you buy spells off him?--SerCenKing Talk 12:17, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
- no, I can't and that bugs me alot 75.85.240.138 15:25, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
- I've just checked with him again I definitely can buy his spells. This sounds like a glitch on your game - which unfortunately can't be easily solved. Try re-loading previous saves, although that's not bound to work either. Sorry. --SerCenKing Talk 15:44, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

- Ok this might seem extremely weird but I had lost the option to buy spells for Vigge the Cautious on 360 and tried everything I could (old saves, trailing him for a full day hoping eventually the option would come up, even loading up my game save on my PC version and using the console to basically restore him) nothing worked, I knew I had tried to get spells from Alberic before and had the same issue and when I saw it was a problem others had had I decided to try him again, difference this time was I went when he was asleep and I didn't have the option still (not supposed to from what I understand) the time I had when I went to the "journal" was 1:56 so I waited 5 hours and watched him wake up, walked straight up to him and had the option to purchase his spells, I bought them and fast traveled to Skingrad, found Vigge and his option was back too. This may be an odd coincidence or it may be a potential solution...for those experiencing the glitch, try it out and respond if it worked or not for you. --99.194.208.208 15:47, 22 December 2011 (UTC)

Athragar's Frost Spell?[edit]
In his Mages Guild topic he mentions that Athragar has a powerful frost spell for sale. However, Athragar does not really sells any frost spells, aside from Summon Frost Atronach. Does that count? — Unsigned comment by 76.112.194.87 (talk) at 05:12 on 13 September 2010
- You're right, I don't think the Summon Frost Atronach is what was intended there. I suspect there was a change in his spell list at some point and the dialogue just got overlooked. – Robin Hood↝talk 23:50, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
