The St. Olms Temple

The St. Olms Temple is a Tribunal Temple located in Vivec's St. Olms Plaza.

This is a fairly sizeable, but nearly deserted temple. There are no shrines, and the only occupants are Vaval Selas, who offers a variety of ingredients, potions, and spells for sale, and a few rats. You may freely take anything from this temple without consequence, save what's in Vaval's quarters.

Walkthrough[edit]

As you enter, you will find yourself in a dome room with an ash pit in its center. In the northeastern corner is a copy of the book The Book of Dawn and Dusk resting on a lecturn. The wooden door in the northwestern corner leads downstairs to a long hall with six rooms connected to it. The first room, behind a locked (5) wooden door, is a library. It offers a copy of the book The Doors of the Spirit on a lecturn and copies of The Cantatas of Vivec, The Book of Dawn and Dusk, The Pilgrim's Path, The Consolations of Prayer, and Lives of the Saints lying on the shelves opposite the door.

The room across from the library is where Vaval Selas resides. In the southeastern corner of the room are shelves holding two bottles of shein, two bargain rising force potion, two cheap disease resistance potions, a cheap restore fatigue, cheap restore agility, and a cheap rising force potion, as well as a small chest containing 10 random ingredients. On the uppermost shelf are several sacks storing cheap food. Nearby is a locked (75) wooden chest containing most of Vaval's merchandise.

On top of the dining table are two ash yams. Opposite is a desk having a small chance of containing special loot, on top of which rests a copy of the book The Ruins of Kemel-Ze and a locked (25) small chest containing 10 gold. In the northwestern corner is a dresser containing random common clothing, with three common robes on top. In the northeastern corner is Vaval's bed. There are also three baskets having a slight chance of containing special and marksman loot.

Next to Vaval's room is a bedroom with two beds, beside each of which is a chest that contains up to 5 gold (60% chance each) and three random pieces of common clothing, and has a small chance of containing special loot. Between the beds is a small table, on top of which lies a copy of the Speechcraft skill book 36 Lessons of Vivec, Sermon 27.

At the end of the hall are three rooms – two storage rooms behind locked (5, 10) wooden doors and a bedroom. The bedroom has two bunk beds, beside each of which is a chest that contains up to 5 gold (60% chance each) and three random pieces of common clothing, and has a small chance of containing special loot. There are also three urns containing cheap food. The locked (10) southmost storage room houses a leveled rat. There is a single bed and multiple containers, such as sacks and barrels, containing random ingredients/cheap food. One of the crates contains up to 6 gold (60% chance each) and also has a 25% chance of storing a random restore attribute potion, as well as a small chance of containing special and marksman loot.

The other locked (5) storage room is inhabited by two rats. There is a large number of containers that are either empty or contain random ingredients and cheap food. Each of the two barrels in front of the entrance contains up to 5 gold (60% chance each) and also has a small chance of containing special and marksman loot. In the northwestern corner are a handful of empty crates. Hidden between two of them is a Marandus propylon index.
