Sigar roaming the wilderness

Sigar is a Nord bandit and a cannibal. After the conclusion of the quest The Taste of Death, you may encounter him in the wilderness standing over a dead person's body. His reaction depends on your performance in the quest.

Sigar wears ragged robes, and is equipped with a leveled dagger which can be up to Daedric quality. He can cast the spells Flames, Heal Other, Muffle, and Invisibility. He follows the corpse if you move or reanimate it, although he won't enter interior cells after the corpse.

Quest-Related Events

If you completed the feast, Sigar hails you, saying:

"It is the Champion of Namira! I was just about to eat. Here, you should have the first bite."

If you failed or scrapped the quest in one of the many other ways (such as not falling for Eola's advances in the first place), Sigar panics, saying:

"Don't look at me. I didn't kill her. I was just... making sure the body got buried."

If you saved Brother Verulus at the last moment and killed Eola and the cannibals, Sigar is hostile. Sigar will also be hostile if you complete the quest and then kill all the cannibals and Eola straight afterwards.

Bugs

• Sigar may still be encountered and recognize you as the Champion of Namira, regardless of quest actions.
  • The Unofficial Skyrim Patch, version 1.3.2, fixes this bug.
• Sigar may disappear mid conversation. ^?
• Even though Sigar has both a melee weapon and an array of spells at his disposal, he will only use his fists in combat. ^?
