The default player character

Prisoner is the default name for the player character. Their name, race, gender, and appearance are subject to change during character creation. The player character is later identified as the Dovahkiin.

You will play as the default character in the playroom area in Skyrim VR.

Notes

• The game data also lists eight non-player-related NPCs named "Prisoner", all identified as Falmer Prisoners who were possibly associated with a cut quest in Chillwind Depths.
• The player's BaseID and RefID are the same as those of the player-character in Oblivion.

• Additionally, Skyrim's player-character is named Bendu Olo in promotional footage and images, which has also been used in promotional footage and images as the player-character's name in Morrowind, Oblivion, and Blades.
