Mythic Dawn Camp

Mythic Dawn Camp is an expedition camp for the Mythic Dawn to reopen the ruins of Rielle, added by The Cause creation. The camp is located on the southern slopes of the Throat of the World, west of Ivarstead and north of the Alchemist's Shack.

It can be reached by traveling from the Alchemist’s Shack or Honeystrand Cave, by taking a mountain path that connects the two. The path leads uphill to a large flat snow-covered area. Before the camp appears, the path and plateau are nothing more than an alternate route past the bear at Honeystrand Cave, and when traveling from the southwestern end you will encounter a leveled Bear, which you must kill or calm to proceed.

Several Mythic Dawn cultists and their tents appear here once stage 60 of the quest is reached, and they must be defeated in order to reach the tent and find the Excavation Leader’s Journal; the journal explains that an excavation mission is being carried out in the mountains to the south, and updates your map with the marker for Varlais Cavern if you have not already discovered it. The quest will then direct the Dragonborn to the entrance of the Ayleid Ruin of Rielle that the excavation team has been digging to from the Skyrim side.
