The town park

The park is Stros M'Kai's recreation area and garden in the northwest corner of town, its entrance just west of Gerrick's Goods. You can see the nearby bridge and waterfall, Hallin Falls, which conceals the entrance to the Goblin Caverns. The park is a simple walled space with lush green grass, several palm trees, and a few varieties of tropical plants and shrubs. Parts of the wall have fallen into disrepair due to the civil war and Imperial occupation.

Mariah is the landscaper who is in charge of city beautification. However, when seen in-game, she is always wandering the town square. She says there were more people to tend to the landscaping before the war.

Brother Nidal tells you the last time he saw Brother Kithral before he disappeared three months ago was when he sent him to collect fresh mandrake root at the park. Mariah adds that Kithral enjoyed spending time there, was a passionate Crown, and would stare at the waterfall while writing in his journal. Nidal believes Richton's men ambushed him in the park and killed him for being a Crown sympathizer. However, his body is found in the Goblin Caverns, and his last journal entry reveals he was working to help Iszara restore Prince A'tor's soul by obtaining Voa's ring.

During the quest A Legendary Flask, you will follow Crendal to the park where he will reveal the location of his hiding spot. There, he keeps buried a Leather Pouch containing Trithik's map piece that he stole. Dig in the southwest corner by the tree using a shovel from Gerrick's Goods.
