Variable rewards[edit]

I have to mention that all the Guild Job quests (except Covetous Countess) have three tiers of rewards, depending on how many quest stages you complete. For Plucking Fingers for example, completing the first zone gives you a small shipment, completing two is medium, and three zones is large plus a blue pardon writ. We should try to make that clear in our walkthroughs. Contraptions (talk) 20:53, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

Agreed. If it's standardised then we could try something like this. In other words, describe the reward system in detail on this page and then simply link to the section on our walkthroughs. —Legoless (talk) 22:58, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
Yes. Heists also have varying rewards, you get unidentified equipment box for completing the heist in time. There's also the question regarding reputation rewards, which also should be mentioned somewhere. I am unsure how/where to include this, and would like to see the final rewards when it goes live, but FG layout could be a solution. Tib (talk) 23:09, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
It might be best to detail the Reputation in this section rather than on the walkthroughs. On the other hand, we didn't have that problem with Fights and Mages Guild quests (since as far as I know they don't have Reputation rewards), so maybe we should figure something out like we did for writs and Inspiration. —Legoless (talk)
Just wanted to mention that I do have a plan in mind for the variable rewards, and for including the reputation. But I haven't actually included any of them yet because they keep changing!  :P --Enodoc (talk) 23:44, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
"while the smallest Tib Board jobs reward 5" - Aww, the Tibs are small indeed! :) It looks good otherwise Enodoc, nicely done. Tib (talk) 14:29, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
Heheh, oops. If the rewards in 2.3.4 are the same as they are now, I'll go ahead and add all the details to the individual pages then as well. --Enodoc (talk) 16:19, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

More Info Regarding the Reputation / Kari's Hit List[edit]

Alright, we're live now and it seems completing Kari's Hit List also affects reputation, something I did not notice before. Specifically - I was at Rank 2 (0/25 reputation) after completing Partners in Crime. Then I went and gathered all items on the hit list because I wanted the title. After that my reputation was up at rank 4 (0/30 reputation). It needs to be clarified though, it could be the achievements that give reputation. Tib (talk) 22:20, 7 March 2016 (UTC)

Read online that the hit list gives 55 reputation, which would match up with our current values and your increase to rank 4. It's probably worth making a guide for the hit list somewhere. —Legoless (talk) 17:39, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
I just turned in 1 item and got 5 rep. I think it was the third. No more rep until the 13th that gave me 10 more rep. 10 rep for the 15th item and another 30 for the 16th I didn't check for the first few. Also the respawn time seems less than a minute or two and it looks like they might be instanced per player now. I saw another player animation like they were picking it up right after I did. I just did the Hit List again (Feb. 12, 2021). I got 5 Reputation for Looting the Landing (the Hew's Bane item), and then 10 Rep each for the three alliance collections (Con the Covenant, Despoil the Dominion, and Purloin the Pact). The achievement for doing all four of those, A Cutpurse Above, gave 20 Rep. The total is still 55, which is inconsistent with the Reputation amounts cited on the page. The page claims 5 Rep points per item, for a total of 80 Rep for the items, but it's actually 35, since it's based on the achievements (10+10+10+5), not the items themselves. My experience matches exactly the one of Virtus753. I correct the text. --RealMoredanKantose (talk) 04:00, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
As of 11/7/2022, I am either very stupid or NOT getting any Thieves Guild rep for completing the hitlist. Possibly a bug, not sure. --Ravendarkeye (talk) 05:06, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
