Quick Walkthrough

• Talk to Millenith.
• Collect ten rough maple and refine them.
• Construct a maple bow.
• Destroy the new bow.

Detailed Walkthrough

Talk to Millenith outside the Fighters Guild about becoming certified as a woodworker. She says she will certify you if you create a maple bow, but first you need the parts.

She will point you to a nearby area with some maple nodes. Go to that area and harvest all the nodes you can find. If you already have enough Rough Maple you may skip this step.

Return to Millenith who has moved to the main woodworking crafting area of the city. Talk to her and she will tell you to refine the material. If you already have enough Sanded Maple, you may skip this step.

She will then ask you to make a Maple Bow. You will need to first acquire a Style Material in a style your character knows. By default, you will already know your character's racial style. Materials for the 9 common racial styles can be purchased from the nearby Carpenter vendor for 0000001515  if you do not have any. Or they can be readily found in containers throughout the world.

Once you have made the bow she then tells you to destroy it. Note that you can deconstruct any Woodworking item - it does not have to be the bow you just made. Once that is done she will reward you with some gold and allow you to start completing Woodworker Writs.

Notes

• It is possible to skip the tutorial section and be certified immediately if you have already reached Woodworking Rank 10.
• The nodes will always contain four rough maple, so that you can acquire the required ten for refining.
• The nodes in Daggerfall are outside the eastern Outlaws Refuge entrance.
