Find Verandis in Blackreach

Speak to Verandis in Blackreach after completing Second Chances.

Taking up the Mantle is awarded for speaking to Count Verandis Ravenwatch in Blackreach: Arkthzand Cavern after the completion of the quest Second Chances. This is the final quest in the Dark Heart of Skyrim storyline, meaning access to both Markarth and Greymoor is required to earn this achievement.

After Second Chances is completed, Verandis can be found just north of the Arkthzand Wayshrine, overlooking the cavern from a Dwarven balcony at the entrance to Bthar-Zel.

Earning this achievement will reward you with the title "of House Ravenwatch", granting nominal membership of House Ravenwatch. It also allows you to purchase Dwarven Liminal Diffusion furnishings from Tirudilmo for 0005000050,000  each.
