Auridon, the home of Aliaria family
Talviah Aliaria, a member of the family involved in Orsinium affairs
"The rabble face death every day, while the brave always find a way to defeat it" —A saying attributed to father of Talviah Aliaria[1]

The Aliaria family is a noble Altmer lineage hailing from the province of Summerset, known for producing a long line of warriors and mages. The Aliaria family’s kinhouse was situated in the isle of Auridon, though its precise location remains unknown.[1]

History[edit]

City of Orsinium in Wrothgar

By 2E 582, the family had gained recognition for its achievements, as it produced many grand warriors and mages. As recounted by Talviah Aliaria, his father held the position of royal mage, while his mother served in the Queen's Guard of Ayrenn Arana Aldmeri. Notably, Talviah's sister was renowned for almost single-handedly securing victory at the Battle of Sunken Spire.[1]

However, little more is known about the family beyond the fate of Talviah Aliaria, who was considered the "tarnished fruit on the tree of golden pears" by his relatives. A scribe by trade, Talviah journeyed to Wrothgar in an effort to prove himself. There, he became embroiled in local conflicts, participating in battles against the Winterborn Clan as a mage alongside famous figures like Eveli Sharp-Arrow. He played a role in events surrounding the eradication of the extremist cult of Vosh Rakh, death of King Kurog gro-Orsinium and the enthronement of Bazrag gro-Fharun as a new monarch. Whether Talviah perished in these trials or lived to tell the tale is unknown.[1][2]
