The Palace

Is this statement "The Palace - Home to Sheogorath. (later you after the Main Quest)" supposed to mean it becomes yours after you finish the main quest? does this work with goty edition

I bought the game of the year edition and have rest for 24 hrs multiply times for different reasons, but there has been no mention of a new island i was just wondering if I want to go to Shivering Isles if I would have to go out and buy the actual expansion pack, or if there was a free download or something, and if i can get to it with all i currently have how to get there

If you bought the GotY edition, it should work. Make sure you've downloaded the special content disk (theres two disks for PC, i don't know about Xbox). If the quest still doesn't start, make sure it's checked in the Data Files folder. You can also manually swim out to the island, you don't need to have the first quest update to find it: it is present from the beginning. -DevotedInsanity 01:55, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

Shimmering Isles. Just bought the game about a week ago, Oblivion has 2 disks, I used number 2 first,then the original. I am at level 27 and the quest still hasn't come up. Any suggestions? Oh Xbox 360 lol

HELP!

Hi im running windows 7 and have the 5th anniversary version, installed of course oblivion, installed the knights of the nine DLC and the shivering isles. But when the door in the niben bay quest appears the big portal to the shivering isles is just a lot of ! marks in the air. and theres a guard with a citizen swimming in the niben bay.
