The Crowns are a major faction in Hammerfell, alongside the Forebears. Within Skyrim, the faction is represented by the Republic of Dragonstar, former owners of much of what is now the southwestern holding of the Kingdom of the Reach. The only territory they have managed to retain following the devastating War of Bend'r Mahk is the western half of their namesake, Dragonstar, and the Tro-Tuktura Pass border fort.
