Watcher Armok

Watcher Armok is an undead Nede found in Skyreach Catacombs. Along with Garalan and Shavmar, he sacrificed himself to seal Virmaril in the catacombs after his betrayal of the Nedes. In order to reach Virmaril you must destroy Armok and the other watchers.

He uses a mix of cauterizer and spirit master class abilities.

Minor Wound

A basic ranged attack that does minor magical damage.

Focused Healing

Watcher Armok will heal any allies that are hurt, including himself. Enemies often indicate this by calling out for healing (I'm hurt!, I need healing!, Healer! etc.) This effect appears as a yellow beam connecting Watcher Armok and his target. This spell can be interrupted to stagger Watcher Armok.

Rite of Passage

Watcher Armok channels a spell healing himself and nearby allies for 4 seconds. It takes half a second to cast, and another half a second to begin healing its target once the effect is applied. This ability is usually used when Watcher Armok is on low health. This can be interrupted to stagger Watcher Armok.

Summon Burdening Eye

Watcher Armok summons a Burdening Eye that moves toward the player.

Stare

If the Burdening Eye touches the player, it explodes, temporarily rooting the player in place and doing moderate magical damage.

Spell Absorption

Watcher Armok channels a shield on an ally that greatly reduces magical damage taken. This spell can be interrupted to stagger Watcher Armok.

Notes

• Despite looking like a dragon priest, Armok is a Nede and therefore unrelated to those Nordic forms of undead.
