Nevaen is a Reachman who can be found in front of the Stonevault Repository in Markarth. She has been hired to guard Tahzim and Athdar. She appears if you've started The Despot of Markarth.

Quest-Related Events

When you return to Markarth during A Feast of Souls you will learn that the Gray Host and slaughtered several people. Nevaen can be found dead on the streets of Markarth next to corpses of her employers Tahzim and Athdar.

After you defeat Rada al-Saran during Kingdom of Ash, you can return to the city to find that several people were resurrected. Nevaen will be one of them and has relocated with Athdar westwards across Markarth. She can no longer be spoken to.

Until "A Feast of Souls" Nevaen will talk about her employment.

"I hadn't planned on hiring on to guard a pair of outsiders, but it's been an interesting job."

"Tahzim talks about his homeland a lot. Sandy, hot, no mountains, no trees. I can't even picture it, to be honest.
Who would want to live in such a place?"

"One of the reasons I signed on as Tahzim's bodyguard was to see Markarth. Not sure I would want to stay here all the time, but it is impressive."

"The Redguard was wise enough to know he shouldn't just wander the Reach without an escort.
