Athdar is a Redguard who can be found in front of the Stonevault Repository in Markarth. He is here with his brother Tahzim and their hired guard, Nevaen. He appears if you've started The Despot of Markarth.

Quest-Related Events

When you return to Markarth during A Feast of Souls you will learn that the Gray Host and slaughtered several people. Athdar can be found dead on the streets of Markarth next to his brother Tahzim and his hired guard, Nevaen.

After you defeat Rada al-Saran during Kingdom of Ash, you can return to the city to find that several people were resurrected. Athdar will be one of them and has relocated with Neavan westwards across Markarth. He can no longer be spoken to.

Dialogue

Until A Feast of Souls Athdar directs you to speak with his brother when spoken with.

"I'm not sure how long we'll be in Markarth. I do miss Hammerfell, though."

"You probably want to talk to my brother, Tahzim. He's the one in charge."

"Our guide, Nevaen? She's actually rather nice. Everyone says the Reachfolk are all barbarians, but I don't think that's true."
