The Insalubrious Effluvium is an unpleasant canyon south of the Brass Fortress filled with hostile fabricants and factotums. Outsider Observation Report - Log 3 can be found at Rarlmir's camp. A copy of The Old Ways is also located here.

- One definition of 'insalubrious' is "not conducive to health"[1] and 'effluvium' can mean an offensive exhalation or smell or "a by-product especially in the form of waste",[2] which can give some clues as to the canyon's purpose.
