Huleeya[edit]
Huleeya is male, certainly in the PC version (i.e. his voice actor is male, and he has a male Argonian face). I recall Huleeya being male on the Xbox version as well. People shouldn't assume things just from the look of a name. --Edwin Herdman 23:41, 17 March 2007 (EDT)
- Confirmed. --DrPhoton 06:20, 18 March 2007 (EDT)
Addhiranirr[edit]
I had an issue with Addhiranirr not presenting dialog options for this quest, and not having an option to tell the tax officer where she was (gondola/underworks). I dug around in the files to try to figure out what was going on, and it turns out that you have to have someone tell you she is running from the tax man. If you just find her on your own, her quest isn't at the correct stage to move forward.
Progress of Truth problem[edit]
Hey, I need some help. I picked up the book Progress of Truth, but it didn't appear in my inventory. I'm using an xbox, so....I can't use a cheat. what should I do? Luxis Miles 18:28, 24 January 2008 (EST)
- Are you sure you picked it up? Or did you just read it? With books, you have to click the "Take" button after you open it to read it in order for it to be added to your inventory. --TheRealLurlock Talk 18:53, 24 January 2008 (EST)
Split?[edit]
This quest is actually officially listed as four separate quests:
- Vivec Informants
- Addhiranirr Informant
- Huleeya Informant
- Meet Mehra Milo
The three sub-parts of this quest can be done in any order, so they are concurrent. But site policy is generally to have separate pages for differently-named quests, and this is somewhat contrary to that. Additionally, each leg of the quest has its own quest ID and journal entries, and has enough "action" to warrant a separate page, compared to other quests in the game. (The Vivec Informants quest itself is pretty basic, but it's not the only quest that's like that.) So, should this page be split? --TheRealLurlock Talk 17:29, 17 July 2008 (EDT)
- I changed my mind and made the three sub-quests redirect here instead. Should be good enough. --TheRealLurlock Talk 14:41, 19 July 2008 (EDT)
Journal entry not active[edit]
I tried in-game and had a look at the quest in the editor and I don't see any way to get this journal entry "A1_V_VivecInformants 55". The quest will be completed with journal entry 50 as well. On a side-note, this is another of the quests that get "broken" by the unofficial mod; not actually broken but the quest will remain active in your journal. -92.227.82.23 16:57, 10 December 2008 (EST)
serious in-game PC bug?[edit]
Ive completed the maing quest, just a while I slaughtered Dagoth Ur and came to Vivec for a little visit. I wanted to see if there is cured dreamer in calans and talked to Addhiranirr by mistake. She however told me that I told cansus and office WHERE HE CAN FIND HER and now she is ANGRY that I DID IT. Now she will not talk to me. Choices:
1. Apoglize
2. Pay 300 gold for tax expenses
I cant believe it. It is REALLY a serious in-game bug, or I just had a lack of luck ?! — Unsigned comment by Janmojzis (talk • contribs) at 06:12 on 14 January 2009
And I edited dialogue: Greeting5->You have some nerve... and Greeting5->You! You are the one who... I added both Fun/Var HeartDestroyed condition as HeartDestroyed!=1, this would prevent the incorrect greeting from being happened. (And I told census to travel to mainland before) — Unsigned comment by Janmojzis (talk • contribs) at 07:08 on 14 January 2009
- I'm here to report this bug because she's doing the same thing to me, after I truthfully told the Excise agent I didn't know where she was; my only choices were to say No, I don't know where she is, or to say that I'm busy. After all, in this particular playing of the game, my PC had not yet found her, so how could I tell him?!? This isn't the first time I've seen this happen, and I've seen it happen both as I describe, and as the unnamed person above describes it.
- Fortunately for me, I've always had the gold to offer her. I'd hate see this happen to a new player who took a side-trip to Vivec before heading to Balmora, (as I have done, and have recommended to new players because the Imp. Cult gives enchanted items for doing easy quests).
- However, I have not been able to determine under which circumstances this bug occurs. Downstrike (talk) 22:31, 19 March 2013 (GMT)
There being more than one unexplained bug in the St. Olms Underworks may easily be a coincidence, but I wonder if someone can investigate the possibility that there is some incompatibility between the programming of the quests and the programming of the Underworks? Enough training?[edit]
Caius Cosades keeps telling me to keep training some more before he can give me the next task. I just read I should be over level 3 to get the task. My character is at level 24. What should I do? — Unsigned comment by 91.154.8.81 (talk) on 9 August 2011
- Are you sure it's your level you're looking at? There's nothing else except a check on your level, so I don't understand why it wouldn't work. rpeh •T•C•E• 11:02, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
- Well, it is my level I'm looking at. Must be a bug then, so I can't complete the Main Quest. Thanks anyways. — Unsigned comment by 91.152.176.192 (talk) at 15:56 on 10 August 2011

- Odd, I seem to have the opposite bug, as I got the quest at level 1. If you're using the PC version you could always use the console. Type in Journal A1_V_VivecInformants 1 on the console (assuming you're on PC). Some people use the player-> prefix but I go into third person, then activate the console and click on my character.--RandomPacmanObssesor 20:51, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
Promotion present?[edit]
"The Spymaster promoted me to Journeyman Rank in the Blades. He seems pleased with me, because he also gave me a little present." Didn't get this little present and the journal entry. Is there a specific topic I should click? I tried everything. Aven (talk) 07:12, 11 January 2013 (GMT)
Orders bug[edit]
I probably have bug with orders topic. I just returned to complete q, i get messege "I have your report, and I'll make copies of your notes from Huleeya and ... " get 200 drakens and promotion and journal update. Then if i dont wait i get "I'm not ready for you yet. I told you. ..." But when I wait i always get again " I have your report" and i can't skip that even if use console comand to get another quest - he is still saying same sentence ( and give me 200 drakens and promotion). — Unsigned comment by 89.190.90.135 (talk) at 20:46 on 10 February 2015 (GMT)
