Cook prepares meals for his companions

Cook is an Argonian commoner who squats in (illegally occupies) an abandoned building in Bravil along with several other people. He serves as the cook for the group, as well as its unofficial father figure.

He rises at 9am every morning and spends an hour wandering around the building, talking to his fellow squatters. He then sits down at his table and prepares some food for an hour, then returns to wandering, pausing at 2pm to eat a simple lunch for two hours. At 6pm, he prepares dinner for everyone for another four hours, then resumes wandering until 1am, when he goes to bed.

Cook wears a beggar's shirt, sack cloth pants, and no shoes; he carries a rotten apple and a loaf of stale bread.

Cook is a friendly sort who will welcome you to the building: "New to the slums, eh? I cook for everyone. Everyone who eats food, at any rate. I'll give you the who's who, if you're interested." He'll tell you about his fellow squatters:

• Brawler: "Brawler is in some kind of trouble with the guard. I wouldn't ask, unless you want to get friendly with that big mace of his."
• Sinead: "We all know Sinead is a vampire. She keeps clear of us, though. Only feeds on her, er, customers."
• Yuri and Penn: "Yuri and Penn are our Skooma addicts. Don't see them at the kitchen table much."

Otherwise, he has little say unless you ask about an empty bed: "The attic room is empty, at the very top. Nobody wants to sleep near Sinead."
