Please help![edit]

I have finished all of the oblivion gates in Oblivion 4 for Xbox 360. I now have done the vampire quest but skingrad won't let me finish. I now ask Hal-Liurz in the castle and she says the count will be with me...he never comes. When i find him behind locked doors he tells me to close the oblivion gate outside of skingrad before he can give assistance. I have already closed it and can go no further with the main quest. I reinstalled the expansion and that did not help. I also have all of the updates. Anyone else have this problem or know how to solve it? thanks — Unsigned comment by 66.66.95.62 (talk) on 21 October, 2009

To get the help from the different cities is entirely optional. So, if Skingrad is being such a problem, I recommend just skipping it. It might make the Battle for Bruma slightly harder, but you can still finish the Main Quest. Good luck! –Elliot talk 09:30, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Okay, that's enough.[edit]

Since this page seems to be the center of attention, I'm going to post here. All of you, stop, please. While the original post may not have been the most friendly we've ever seen, this edit war is absolutely absurd and I would expect better from all involved. So everyone please stop with the reverting and the sarcastic edit summaries, please, and discuss this like decent human beings. –Eshetalk 21:58, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Fine. I'm quite in favour of that. I would like to know why Elliot is changing the pages affected by his changes to the Chart subtemplates rather than fixing the underlying problem. That's all. 87.118.101.175 22:00, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
I am sorry for that little skirmish a month ago. But to answer your question, I don't know how to fix it. If I knew how to, I would have done fixed it by now. The main thing to do is to adapt when something unexpected arises. Trust me, I want it to work under all circumstances. But there is nothing I can think of to fix it. And since I have been doing some maintenance, I think it is best to have them categorized so that Special:UncategorizedPages doesn't get clogged. It is something to do with interrupting the open tags in the pages, but I can't figure out how to fix it. If you know how (besides removing the categories ;) ), then by all means, let me know. –Elliot talk 06:58, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
