Welcome[edit]

Hello D3M0N0ID! Welcome to UESPWiki! It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you would like to spice up your userpage, click here for a list of userboxes you can use, including a guide to making your own.

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! -damon  xoxo 19:06, 9 October 2013 (GMT)

Advice[edit]

Hello and welcome to UESPWiki! Thanks for your interest in the wiki; however, you seem to have been making multiple edits to a page by not using the show preview button, clogging up the Recent Changes in the process. We appreciate your enthusiasm, but keep in mind that each edit needs to be patrolled, so multiple consecutive edits create an unnecessary hassle on those who patrol. So please utilize this feature! You may also want to look over our style guide and Getting Started guide. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. ThuumofReason (talk) 16:01, 16 October 2013 (GMT)

I'd like to bring this to your attention, as you are continuing to do this. These small corrections could easily be condensed into one or two large edits if you used Show Preview. Please do so in the future. Thanks!--Skyrimplayer (talk) 16:59, 16 October 2013 (GMT)

Sorry[edit]

I apologize for editing this page User:D3M0N0ID so much but i keep coming up with new ideas... D3m0n0id His Great Evil 18:15, 16 October 2013 (GMT)

In that case, why don't you try slowing down a bit? Take some time to marshal your thoughts before making an edit; decide what you want your userpage to look like, what information you want it to have, and what you want other users of the site to know about you. That way, you can make several additions in the space of a single edit. Using show preview can also help you determine if that's really what you want to have on your page. It's good that you're so enthusiastic, but when you start making more than 3 or 4 edits in the space of 10 minutes, that's probably a sign that you need to slow down. Thanks for being so understanding, and please don't hesitate to let me know if there's anything I can help you with :-) ThuumofReason (talk) 22:42, 16 October 2013 (GMT)
Good idea i can write these ideas down and every three days i can put them up :D D3m0n0id His Great EVIL [D3M0N0ID] 14:55, 17 October 2013 (GMT)
That's fine, but make sure you're contributing to the wiki in the meantime. Making all your edits to your user page and talk page rather than the articles about the games is frowned upon, so if you're more interested in informal discussion than in editing articles about the games, you might be better off using our forums instead of the wiki. Section Links[edit]

I was just noticing your test edits. It looks like you were trying to figure out section links, so I thought I'd give you a quick how-to. As you discovered, HTML links don't work. You can create section links either by using a section header of any level (e.g. === Some Header ===) or by using the {{LE}} or {{HE}} templates (click on the template links to learn more about how those work). Whichever method you've used, you can then link to it on the same page with [[#Some Header]], or a different one with [[Some Namespace:Some Page#Some Header]]. Let me know if you have any questions. Forums[edit]

Hey, D3M0N0iD! I noticed that you're still making a lot of edits to your user page, and you've only made 2 edits to content space since you registered. I read the blurb on your user page, and I think you should know that the purpose of the wiki is to provide accurate documentation about the games, rather than discussing general strategies and tips, which tend to be too opinion-based to be useful to many people.

If you're not interested in making edits to the wiki, your interests might be better served on the UESP forums. I would suggest you check those out rather than hanging around the wiki side of the site, as all the edits to your userpage without any content edits is going to create a lot of headaches for our other editors down the line, and it's unlikely that anyone will seek you out for advice on the games here. Thanks! ThuumofReason (talk) 18:42, 17 October 2013 (GMT)

Thanks but for some reason it will not let me sign in or create an account and also i love to find glitches and bugs and see if they are real or not. D3m0n0id His Great EVIL [D3M0N0ID] (Talk) 13:34, 24 October 2013 (GMT)

User Boxes[edit]

Hi D3MONOID. I have replaced the template text on your userpage with the templates themselves. There is no outward difference but the copied text applied incorrect categories to your userpage. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 13:35, 26 July 2014 (GMT)
