Artifact Locations[edit]
- Yo make a page about the artifacts locations that are with in the game. you have a page on the artifacts, but they only explain the powers of the artifacts.(--38.109.29.125 14:25, 22 November 2011 (UTC)spymaster) (11/22/11)
- Just add the location as a separate column? --Kiz ·•· Talk ·•· Contribs ·•· Mail ·•· 14:44, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
-
- In fact, eventually, each artifact's redirect will be turned into a full article, as has been done in past games, and that article will provide complete details such as the location. Any editor is free to start doing that right now, since the pages are all in place already. --NepheleTalk 16:33, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
Removing links[edit]
Can we de-link all the rejected requests in the archives? It's creating a lot of red links. Minor Edits 06:27, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
- Oh yes, good idea. Feel free! :) --Krusty 08:12, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
- Nowiki tags, revise the links where possible, or remove them entirely? Minor Edits 10:14, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
- Best idea would be to just make normal headers. There's absolutely no reason to have links floating around on that page. --Krusty 22:20, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

Why Not Create Redirects?[edit]
The article says "For example, we do not want an article named [[Skyrim:Dragons]] to be created, because we already have an article at Skyrim:Dragon.". Why not create a redirect at [[Skyrim:Dragons]]? This would prevent people from creating duplicate articles (or feeling the need to) and properly redirect them to the proper article. -Thunderforge 22:48, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
- There are still many appropriate (IMO) redirects which have yet to be created, but the driving reason is necessity. If you enter "Skyrim:Dragons" into the search function, it will take you to Skyrim:Dragon anyways, so a redirect is pointless. Minor EditsThreats•Evidence 03:46, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
I Can't Imagine How It Would Be Pronounced, But ...[edit]
Verbally, it's "U-E-S-P", right? If so, then the "an" in the Requested Pages section should be corrected: ==Requested Pages== Please type the name of the page that needs to be created below. An UESP editor will then.... --Jreynolds2Talk 17:21, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- The sound of the letter U (pronounced like the word you) is not preceded by "an". "A usable recipe" vs "An usable recipe". Chris3145 19:30, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- I think that was his point, Chris. It's fixed now. And yes, I say each letter individually, I don't try to pronounce it like "usp" or "wesp" or whatever mangled pronunciation people might try. :) – Robin Hood↝talk 20:09, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- I didn't want to change it only to have a Stanford PhD in Elven Linguistics rolling their eyes while explaining to me that any fool knows that UESP is an acronym, not an initialism, and that the obvious pronunciation is "oo-EE-spee." I have my pride. :p --Jreynolds2Talk 03:13, 18 January 2012 (UTC)
- I've just been catching up on a very limited number of pages since I was away from the site for a little bit, and happened to read this thread... I thought I would mention, the "oo-EE-spee" had me practically in tears I was laughing so hard. Thanks for that. :) Alphabetface 03:42, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
- UESP = Yewie Espy. Like a Star Wars character. 3-PO = Threepio. Minor EditsThreats•Evidence 03:50, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

What Now?[edit]
I was rewriting the opening text on this page to make it more relevant now that creation limits only still exist for anonymous users, but I stopped when I noticed that this page requires users to create a draft of the page before having it made. I believe this was intended to stem the flow of unanswered requests, but now that creation limits have been lifted, this page is irrelevant for anyone but anonymous users. I don't think we can just do away with this page at this point though, as it can be put to other uses. Particularly, we could allow it to be used by users not sure about how to create articles, or are to intimidated to do so. While I'm not sure that's the best idea, I can't think of any other remaining purpose as the only thing it could still be used for are main namespace articles, and the need for those are few and far between. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 22:42, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
Lore:Religion[edit]
There should be a lore page for Tamriel's religions; it should be somehow similar to the one for the Fallout universe wikis, like the Fallout Wikia'shttp://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Religion. I can't recall the link for the Fallout Gamepedia URL, though I do vague the remember of it (or is it "vague though remember", or "vague the memory"?)— Unsigned comment by 66.168.187.81 (talk) at 23:05 on 7 January 2015
Services Page for Scouts and another for savants[edit]
sometimes you need a scout or savant and no specific one is suggested by quest giver. not everyone wants a spoiler page about the location/place/thing they seek.
The scouts and savants are currently listed by name. that takes awhile on a pc browser but it is murder if you use your mobile to look stuff up. — Unsigned comment by Lovecraftnoir (talk • contribs) at 21:53 on 25 January 2015
Templates?[edit]
I'm not sure if this is the best place to request this, but I was wondering if somebody could copy over a couple more templates from Wikipedia....specifically https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Horizontal_TOC and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:TOC_2D, for use on pages with incredibly long TOCs like ON:Pets or ON:Daedra where it might not be optimal to use the TOClimit template.--FioFioFio (talk) 14:06, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
New Archive Time?[edit]
It has been over 10 years since the last archive of the New Page Requests. After going through the requests, most have been completed. So can we please move all this completed stuff over and start afresh?--Talyyn (talk) 09:51, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- There's a few uncompleted ones that I've been meaning to transcribe the content from onto respective pages. But yeah, once that's all done, we should 100% archive most of the page. The Rim of the Sky (talk) 23:25, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
