Mashug gro-Dugal

Mashug gro-Dugal is an Orc knight and Protector in the Fighters Guild. He recently completed a mission to kill a necromancer living in Nassudan but became trapped in the process. He is waiting for the guild to work out some way to free him.

For protection, he wears a steel cuirass, a set of steel greaves, and a pair of iron boots. For clothing, he wears a common shirt, a pair of common pants, and a common belt. He wields a silver war axe.

Like all Orcs, he has a natural resistance to magicka, and can boost his health, fatigue and attack for short periods, at the cost of his agility, but otherwise knows no spells.

Dialogue[edit]

  • Greeting:
"I'd turn back if I were you. I stumbled into a trap here."
  • trap:
"Look, don't worry about me. I got into this mess by myself and you're liable to get yourself stuck too if you're not careful."

If he has been saved from the trap and you have completed the Fighters Guild quest 'Proactive Protection':

"He's alright. Bit too shrewd. But alright."

Fighters Guild: Find Mashug gro-Dugal[edit]

  • Greetings:
"So, do you understand the trap now?"
"Have you figured out a way out of this trap yet, %PCName?"
"Hey, you made it! That was an excellent plan you had there. I never would have thought to do it quite like that. Now come on, let's get out of here." Goodbye (He follows you)
"Ah, sweet fresh air! I never thought I'd get out of that place. I am in your debt, %PCName. You head back to the guildhall, I'm going to wait here for a while and recover."
"Don't worry about me. You head back to back to the guildhall, I'm going to wait here for a while and recover."
  • trap:
"Oh, Permil sent you? Well, I'm afraid you're going to have to report the bad news to him then. I killed the necromancer, and a few of his minions, but when I came back down here the exit was magically sealed. Maybe I should just show you. Stand on that rug and watch the entrance."
"The door opens whenever someone is standing on this platform. Our fleshy friend on the ground over there was standing on it when I arrived, but now it looks like only one of us can get out. Teleportation doesn't work either, so don't bother trying. So unless you have an idea of your own, go tell Permil what's happened and hopefully he'll come up with something."
"Yes, have you figured out a way to get us both out of here?"
  • Step on the platform:
"You've got it." Goodbye (He walks onto the platform)
  • Step off the platform:
"You've got it." Goodbye (He walks off of the platform)
  • Wait for me at the exit:
"Are you sure? I don't want you to get trapped here. Unless you've got a good idea, you'll be stuck here and the trade isn't worth it."
  • Yes, I'm sure.:
"You've got it. I'll wait for you at the exit, don't worry." Goodbye (He walks over to the exit of Nassudan)
  • Okay, stay where you are.:
"You've got it."
If the trap is still on:
"The trap's still in action right now. That's not going to work."
  • Follow me:
"You've got it." (He follows you)
  • Don't do anything right now:
"You've got it."

Fighters Guild: Coladia Nelus' Stalker[edit]

  • Greetings:
"Who's your friend, %PCName?"
  • Garrulus here is just an acquaintance of mine. Hey, wasn't there something you wanted to show me on the lower levels? Why don't you and I go there now?:
"Ah, oh, err... Yes. Let's go there now, %PCName. Why don't you wait here, Garrulus?" Goodbye (He follows you, and Garrulus stands on the platform)
If Garrulus Meril is too far away:
"I did?... Oh, I see, right. But... can't we wait for your friend to come closer?" Goodbye
"C'mon, let's go. [Whispered] Before your friend decides he wants to follow us." Goodbye
"I think he's worked it out now. Now come on, let's get out of here." Goodbye
