Recently, there has been some uproar amongst the members of the native Tribunal Temple about something called a "Nerevarine". Apparently, an insane adventurer who only recently arrived in Morrowind is now claiming to fulfill a sacrilegious prophecy. This has caused a great stir among Temple devotees, with many priests calling for the outlander's immediate arrest and execution. The situation leaves this humble reporter wondering: if it is forbidden to fulfill, why have a prophecy in the first place? In any case, Ebon Tower officials have assured us that this is not the first case of such a "prophecy claimant". Taking this into account, the situation is sure to calm down and things should return to normal in a manner of weeks, at most.
