Morag Tong Assassin

The Morag Tong are an ancient guild of assassins from Morrowind, celebrating murder in the name of Mephala. During the quest Served Cold, the Morag Tong are hired to assassinate Councilor Morvayn, and can be found hiding out in Ashfallow Citadel. Afterward, if you are a member of the Dark Brotherhood, they may be randomly encountered on Solstheim with a writ of execution for you as an unlawful guild assassin. They equip Morag Tong armor, which is identical in appearance to chitin armor, but with a darker tint.

Notes

• The Thieves Guild member Ravyn Imyan was a former member of the Tong.
  • Ravyn also states that "When the Red Mountain erupted in Morrowind, the Tong fled... spread to the nine winds. We made a pact that one day, we might reunite... but I believe that day is long in coming." Despite this claim, the organization would appear active on Solstheim during the events of Dragonborn. Although it's possible that the Tong had reformed since, due to there being a gap of 200 years between the Red Year and the aforementioned events on Solstheim.
• According to the Prima Official Game Guide, Irileth, the housecarl to Jarl Balgruuf the Greater, was a skilled assassin, having been trained by the Morag Tong in Morrowind.
