Zalar-do is a Khajiit vampire lord who is noted for her ability to charm her victims. She has been preying on the people of Anvil and currently resides deep inside Hrota Cave. The vampire hunter Mel Adrys will ask you to help him deal with Zalar-do and find the kidnapped citizens.
She is a key mention of the book Confessions of a Vampire Devotee, the private journal of someone who followed in her wake and desperately wanted her to turn them into a vampire. The ending of the journal implies the author went to Hrota Cave, so it is possible they are one of the bloodfiends found inside. The journal also states that she was active in Valenwood prior to coming to the Gold Coast.

Skills and Abilities[edit]
She is accompanied by three bloodfiends, who assist her during combat.
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Aspect of Terror
- Zalar-do casts a spell that fears the player for a short time, temporarily preventing them from moving or performing any actions. This effect passes through block, but players can break free from it. This spell can be avoided using roll dodge or interrupted to knock her off balance.
Dialogue[edit]
When you enter her lair, you'll see Mel confronting the vampire lord and her three bloodfiend minions:
- Mel Adrys: "Your evil ends here, vampire. Prepare to die."
- Zalar-do: "Do your worst, fool of a hunter!"
When her health reaches 25%, she says:
- Zalar-do: "I grow weary of your interference, hunter!"
Notes[edit]
- Since she uses the fear mage class as a warrior, which is usually reserved for mage enemies, she can only use the fear skull ability, and will otherwise just use basic light melee attacks, making for a very easy fight.
- She doesn't give experience or loot when killed.
