Matriarch Lladi Telvanni is a Dark Elf member of House Telvanni and founder of the settlement of Bal Sunnar in Stonefalls a few thousand years ago. She came to the area to locate and obtain what she referred to as "Their Inheritance".

You unwittingly become her enemy when you become drawn into the time anomaly, which leads her to go to more extreme lengths to defeat you. She also functions as the final boss of this dungeon.

Skills and Abilities

Poisonous Bolt

A basic ranged attack dealing moderate poison damage.

Toxic Eruption

Matriarch Lladi Telvanni slams her staff into the water, causing poisoned water to bubble over and explode at your location, indicated by a growing circular AoE, dealing high poison damage.

Plague Bomb

Matriarch Lladi Telvanni charges her staff before throwing an orb of concentrated poison at you which explodes on impact, dealing massive poison damage. This attack can be blocked.

Infectuous Vomit

Matriarch Lladi Telvanni rears back before starting to belch large amounts of toxic vomit in front of her, indicated by a wide conal AoE, dealing very high poison damage. She will adjust her positioning if you attempt to strafe.

Plague Dash

Matriarch Lladi Telvanni dashes forward to one of the far ends of the arena, leaving lingering plague clouds in her wake, all indicated by circular AoEs, dealing high physical damage on impact and high poison damage if standing in the affected areas.

Summon Voriplasm

Occasionally, Matriarch Lladi Telvanni throws a blob of slime down into the arena, which forms into a Peryite's Glory that comes in to assist her.

Toxic Storm

At 75%/40% health, Matriarch Lladi Telvanni dashes to the center of the arena, becomes invulnerable to damage, and summons and arena-wide storm of toxic gas, dealing continuous moderate poison damage. During the storm, Peryite's Blessed will appear to attack you. The only way to make the storm cease is to collect three Shards of Time that appear in various separate locations within the arena.

Quest-Related Events

While you hear the residents refer to her when you first enter in Bal Sunnar, you and Saresea don't meet her in person until you arrive in the settlement's past. The Matriarch is first encountered at the excavation site, where she believes you are there to steal what is theirs. She will direct her Telvanni to attack you:

Matriarch Lladi Telvanni: "They've come for the artifact! Do not let them near it!"

Matriarch Lladi Telvanni: "Who sent you? How did you learn of our discovery?"

You eventually follow her into a side chamber, where she will call for assistance:

Matriarch Lladi Telvanni: "This power is ours! I will control my own fate!"

Matriarch Lladi Telvanni: "Rise, my blessed pet! Defend our home!"

<Roksa the Warped is summoned. At this point, Saresea arrives.>

Saresea: "Here you are! I felt a surge of power and … what is that?"

Matriarch Lladi will have been cast through time due to the anomaly, and you soon follow her when Saresea's attempt to stablize it fails. After climbing the ladder outside you will see Bal Sunnar has vastly changed. The buildings are ruined, there are fires everywhere and green slime and pus can be found on the walls and ground. In the distance, a Daedric Temple will be seen. As you fight your way there, you will need to fight the Peryite-Blessed blocking your path.

Matriarch Lladi and the time distortion

Saresea will soon come to the conclusion that Matriarch Lladi arrived in the future before you and forged a defensive pact with the Taskmaster. Deep within the temple, you will find the temporal distortion and Matriarch Lladi will be drawing power from it. Saresea will attempt to reason with the matriarch without success:

Saresea: "Well, I was right. Here it is."

Saresea: "Matriarch! Allow us to neutralize the distortion!"

Matriarch Lladi Telvanni: "I've waited years for you. Preparing. Seething. Gaining in power."

Matriarch Lladi Telvanni: "Your scourge is over!"

<Matriarch Lladi attacks you.>

Saresea: "I cannot allow this to continue. I must destroy it."

Saresea: "Keep the Matriarch away from me while I focus!"

Now is the time to fight Matriarch Lladi, she will use a combination of temporal magics and diseases to fight you. She will shout the following during the fight:

"Finally! The chase ends here"

Once you have defeated Matriarch Lladi:
