If you speak to her after Danger in the Holds:

"The jarl's dead, rest her soul.
Some folk want to leave, but I think we should stay. Rebuild. It's the right thing to do."

After the Greymoor story has been completed, she will be glad for the news out of Solitude:

"We hear that Princess Svana will likely be made jarl. Maybe even high queen. Good. Her mother, Gerhyld, was a fine ruler. Better than her traitorous husband."
