This page?[edit]

Do we realy need this page? Are there any other articels about the imperial prison? In any case: this page needs more info... --Viccce 10:05, 1 April 2007 (EDT)

There's mine, which actually includes a map: [[Oblivion:Prison District Map]]. Not much more than there is on this page, as it was mainly meant as a map, but it is linked to all the other map pages I put up. --TheRealLurlock Talk 11:48, 1 April 2007 (EDT)

question!![edit]

Inside the Bastion of the district, there's a door marked "imperial prison" but i can't seem to find the key to enter it. Does anyone know where this key is, what's behind it, or if there's any other way to get inside? thanks.--Piercethetruth 06:05, 25 November 2007 (EST)

There's no key but what lies behind is the prison in which you started the game, and that you visit during the Dark Brotherhood quest Scheduled for Execution. --RpehTCE 07:29, 25 November 2007 (EST)
Oh, nevermind, I read that you get the key while doing the quest. --Piercethetruth 06:14, 26 November 2007 (EST)

Which arena do you mean? There are many possible meanings of Arena in the Elder Scrolls universe. --NepheleTalk 02:28, 25 February 2008 (EST)

Didn't arena take place in Valenwood? — Unsigned comment by Jean-Velejeanne (talkcontribs) on 14 April 2010
No, it spans across the whole of Tamriel. Just read the relevant section. --SerCenKing Talk 16:22, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Prison cell where the game begins - where is it?[edit]

Just curious whether or not is it possible to return to the prison cell where veryone of us began their game, the cell where the Emperor meets you with his lead. Is this prison dungeon accessible later in the game? The stairs from which the emperor and his guards come down, the other cell where the outspoken "friend" greets you. And even if it isn't possible to access it technicly through the game, is there a console command just to get there, to see how it is from the other side of the barrels? 88.222.53.221 17:54, 4 December 2009 (UTC) Chris

Yes, you get a chance to get back where you met the Emperor during the dark brotherhood, Scheduled for Execution quest.--MC S'drassa T2M 18:03, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Prison page rename[edit]

Shouldn't place names follow their maker name? It's currently named "Prison District" on the Wiki but nothing calls it that ingame and Bethesda seems to have not known what to call it with the worldspace, Map marker and cell/dialogue each having a different name. So I propose to rename the page from "Prison District" to its map marker of "Imperial City Prison"

Map Marker: Imperial City Prison

Cell: Imperial Legion Headquarters

Worldspace: Imperial Prison District.

Dialogue: Imperial Legion Compound/Headquarters / Imperial Prison

Dialogue "Only one has a better mastery of locks than I. You need to speak to J'baana. You can find him imprisoned at the Imperial Legion headquarters."

"I heard that thieves broke into the Arcane University, the Imperial Legion Compound, and the Temple, all on the same night!"

Tell me about landmarks. "The Imperial Palace is at the center. The six districts are arranged around the Palace like spokes of a wheel. Starting in the northeast, moving clockwise, you have the Market, Arena, Arboretum, Temple, Talos Plaza, and Elven Gardens districts. The Waterfront is south of Temple District. The Arcane University is south of the Arboretum. The Imperial Prison is north of Market District." —Lich King Arthas Menethil (talk) 16:12, 29 June 2021 (UTC)
