Tridents are a type of polearm that take the form of three-pronged weapons.

The Trident-Kings are an obscure faction believed to be the leaders of the Dreugh people.[1] The Khajiit use claw shapes in ritual tridents as an extension of their own slashing, clawed hands.[2] Altmer Queensguard are said to wield shiny tridents whilst patrolling the streets of Auridon. The lizard bulls of Pyandonea wield glittering tridents, similar to the Queensguard.[3]

The True-Sworn mercenaries used staves with heads shaped nearly like tridents, a design choice influenced by pragmatic considerations aligned with their tasks.[4] The Gray Host used maces that were shaped like tridents.[5] Systrean marines described their trident staves as the "masts of magic" and claimed that channeling magic down the tines of a trident felt different to traditional staves.[6]
