Councilor Kelgan the Taker of Teeth, also known as the Troll-Breaker was a member of the Elder Council during the reign of Emperor Durcorach, the founder of the Longhouse Dynasty.[1]

History[edit]

Emperor Durcorach

Little is known of Kelgan's past, except that he participated in Durcorach's conquest of Cyrodiil in 2E 533.[2][nb 1] He was known for his great enthusiasm for carrying out Durcorach's will and for his deeds in many battles of the Black Drake's campaigns.[1]

In 2E 534, on 1st of the Sun's Dawn, he was appointed by the recently crowned Emperor Durcorach as a representative at large, together with Lord Pheomas Lucasta of the Imperial City, as a token of his deeds to the first Longhouse Emperor.[1]

His fate following the fall of the Longhouse dynasty in 2E 577 is unknown.[3][4][5] Many Reachfolk retreated from Cyrodiil following the death of Emperor Leovic, but it is unknown whether or not he was among them.[6] As of 2E 582, during the reign of the Empress Regent Clivia Tharn, he was no longer a member of the Elder Council.[7]

Notes[edit]

  • ^  As of 2E 534, the only military campaigns of Durcorach were either to solidify his position in the Reach or to conquer Cyrodiil. His armies, prior to becoming the Emperor, consisted primarily of the Reachfolk.[8]
