I'm confused. The flowchart shows that Silverhome on the Water leads directly to the Back Room, and that the Skooma Den plotline is optional.

However, the first line on the Legends:Silverhome on the Water, Back Room page says that both Silverhome on the Water and South Bridge need to be completed before the chapter can be completed.

I do intend to test this, but I may only get two tries. What is other people's understanding of the dependencies here?

As far as I know, the Skooma Den plotline should be completely optional, but it can not hurt to have an extra confirmation. --Ilaro (talk) 12:57, 19 February 2018 (UTC)

Flowchart Discussion[edit]

I just learned that Order of the Hour Barracks is mandatory. If you do Temple of Akatosh first, the victory dialogues are switched. So, both should be marked as required and both flow into the Docks.

On a similar note, I wonder how best to portray optional paths. In Episode 2, it lists Princess Barynia as optional, with Wayrest Sewers as mandatory. However, you could do only Barynia and skip the sewers. How should we represent branching paths where only one is necessary? This same pattern repeats in Episode 3 with Halls of the Dead vs the two involving Zaria.

I also aim to get to Episode 5 quickly, to confirm the quest order requirements there. --Lost in Hyrule (talk) 04:04, 26 April 2018 (UTC)

Flowchart Suggestions[edit]

My suggestion is, if both locations are required to unlock another, make them a branching path, in the same way as when one "location" unlocks multiple locations. Also, centre the meeting point between the prerequisites. In contrast, when either location unlocks another, have both their lines go straight to the destination box, perhaps entering the destination from the sides.

An example of the first: I would shift "Accuse Eliras" to the right so that "Efficient Killer is centred between "Eliras" and "Varlyn".

There's also some issues with Episode 5. Based on my testing, "Silverhome on the Water" can never unlock the "Back Room" on its own (unless this unlock requires a particular branch in an earlier episode). The unlocks I've established so far in this episode are:

"Bravil Treasury" -> nothing
"Silverhome" Tell -> nothing
"Silverhome" Withhold -> ???
"Skooma Den" -> "Eclipse Hideout" Sneak and Parley
"Eclipse Hideout" Sneak -> "South Bridge" No Disguise
"Eclipse Hideout" Parley -> "South Bridge" Play in Disguise
"South Bridge" either -> "Back Room" (don't know if this works without "Silverhome")
"Back Room" -> Assassin Found

I have more testing to do to confirm "Silverhome" Withhold, test if "Silverhome" is required to unlock "Back Room", test some other play orders, and some other combinations from previous episodes.
