I must investigate the fort where bandits have been spotted to see if there are any townsfolk to rescue.

Detailed Walkthrough

Junius will inform you that there are villagers captive at Deadbrook Hollow. Once you have departed for your quest, you will find yourself in the fort. Make your way through, past the first door, defeating the two bandits that patrol the hallway, after these have been dealt with you can go through the second door. In the room after this second door will be a skeever and a wooden chest, go through the third door and you will be in a large room with a mercenary standing in the middle. Deal with this mercenary and you will noticed that there are two townsfolk in cages to either side of you, rescue the villager to your left, Munya, and right, Sirfing. Sirfing will inform you that Saashi, the Loremaster, is also captive here. He will give you a key that you will need to progress through the next door, there is also a wooden chest to the right of his cage in the alcove.

Continue through the fourth door and at the bottom of the stairs a bandit will attack you, in the next large room there are two bandits you will have to deal with. After this, go towards the portcullis and flip the nearby lever to open it. Through it, you will find Saashi's cage guarded by a Mercenary. Defeat the Mercenary and rescue Saashi. She will ask that you meet her in Town and you receive your rewards. Once this is done you can turn around and you will see a glowing chain, pull it and a secret door will open to the right of you, a skeever will be guarding a silver chest.
