Unique Version[edit]

As far as I remember, the unique version from the Bruma Mages Guild quest has different text. If so, this article should be split. —Legoless (talk) 18:04, 2 January 2013 (GMT)

The unique version hast the additional "descriptional" text:
[The book contains an inordinate number of scrawlings along the margins; the few that are immediately readable suggest they are notes for someone who needs frequent reminders on the basics of spell casting.]
See CSList - not sure if a split is really needed, but the difference should be noted somehow. --Alfwyn (talk) 18:13, 2 January 2013 (GMT)
We split other books that have differing text (see Lore:The Real Barenziah (Daggerfall) and Lore:The Real Barenziah). I suggest making a new page at Oblivion:Manual of Spellcraft (Jeanne Frasoric), and adding a note to this page. Links will need to be changed, as well as the listing on the quest items page. —Legoless (talk) 18:51, 2 January 2013 (GMT)
We didn't do that for Skyrim:Fragment: On Artaeum, I guess there is precedence for either direction. --Alfwyn (talk) 14:58, 3 January 2013 (GMT)
Well, that's an odd discrepancy. But this is a much more significant difference than a spelling change. One is a standard book, and the other is a unique quest item which contains an additional paragraph. —Legoless (talk) 15:38, 3 January 2013 (GMT)
Given that this was almost a year old, and it was a tie with one opinion either way, I made the decision and split the page. Robin Hood  (talk) 06:03, 20 December 2013 (GMT)
